Cubic - Sorry I hurt your feelings..... Please tell me how DIRT has helped grassroots racing? If they proceed to co-promote as they have recently announced it will just take more money from the local promotors/tracks. But, if those same promotors/tracks are not willing to book a WoO race due to the risk (which I suspect) then I see why they are forced to co-promote. If you can look at this with an open mind, you would see that the NST has actually focused on "grassroots" racing by taking their series to track that haven't seen a 410 race in years. And the promoters must have agreed because most of them have asked for dates in 2007. As far as cash goes, I wouldn't be so quick to jump the gun on saying that the WoO has more than the NST. The NST owners have some pretty deep pockets. Unified Sprint Car Summit.... I still laugh at that.....what ver came out of that anyway. NOTTA!

src - Even if the investors are not able to cash in and just opt to quit financing DIRT, it would still be devastating. It would all end up in a nasty court battle. Also, DIRT isn't even close to turning a profit, so at the rate that they a burning up the cash, that $5mil would be gone in no time. Then what would happen........ What would happen to the teams out on the road, the promotors that have already paid out the sanction fee?

We can all tell the NST has deep pockets judging by their point fund this year. Good luck with John Deckard's proposed 70 race schedule as well... Kinser and Meyers better promote about 40 more of their own races next year. Maybe Kinser can get Slick 50 to sign on as a series sponsor instead? Hats off too the "F-1 of dirt track racing," they'll have plenty of time to show their might running ASCS next year. The World of Outlaws has already filled 16 slots, we'll see who's left standing when the music stops.

After the news that has broke one and two days after Jason Meyer's interview, some might wonder if he took PR lessons from the Iraqi Misiter of Information.

You're just happy that the All Stars will now get a few WoO dropouts...

BTW, Kinser and Lasoski may be back....but it will take a lot more than that to cure DIRT's financial problems.

Lasoski has basically been back. Kinser with tail between his legs is a welcome addition as well for all sprint car fans. DIRT's existance was not contingent on either of them being in the fold. It appears to me that just the opposite was true or else they wouldn't be back.

DIRT had their TV contracts and sponsors lined up before those two came crawling back.

The All Stars have always had an open invitation out for all who want to race.

I just think you are hilarious. I believe that you are an intelligent guy, but I have never heard anyone be soooo wrong as you have been. Your NST hat rack is gone, so I guess it is only natural that you would hang your last hat on the WoO's financial statement. Many a big business shows a deficit yet continues to thrive, you only try to read things to make your dreams come true. You better just stick to arguing with Duane, I DO go to races of all kinds and will gladly compare credentials with you, like you are so eager for Duane to do.

Coachboob........... I am right here. What did you need ? If you are referring to Kinser and the WoO, I was never for or aginst either. For the last time I have never been a Kinser fan or anti WoO. I also never praised the NST. I am for growth and choice. Not all work out. Most major companies have filed bankruptcy multiple times before finding success. Hopefully someone else can start some regional tour that we can see more than 1-2 times a year and the locals can actually compete.

I am right here...

Read pasts posts I support racing, not a series. They made a choice to leave and now they make a choice to come back. If you want to stop being a coach I will support that too.

Their life their career like i have always said. I was never on NST's side. I was in defence of the choice they made to quit their jobs and go to another.

I know i haven't backed peddled anything. I have stood where i was and thought how i have. I know me and my opinion. My opinion was I was going ot support them for makign a choice. I wasn't going to be like others and hate DIRT then all of a sudden love them.
