Seeing Kinser not make it into the A main was great. I am with vande on this that adding them as a provisional would not have been real popular, not everybody is a Kinser or Swindell fan. Now if only Schatz and Kinser would miss the A next year would be perfect.

I am a Steve and Sammy fan (but I am still a Loyal Wolfgang fan above all), just don't feel that ANYONE deserves a free pass to the main (at any event in any form of racing).
There have been times that (gasp) John Force has missed an NHRA Funny Car Event because he didn't qualify, doesn't seem to affect the NHRA (and he is BY FAR the most recognizable driver/team in the NHRA).
