WOW. Incredible. And against really tough fields. The streak will inevitably end, but he's gonna win 80% of the races he enters this year. If it stops there. Yes Larson is the best we've ever seen as far as open wheel dirt goes. But let's not forget about Silva. It's unfair that those two are working together. Good luck to all the other race teams the rest of the year.

Showing his talent and having fun doing it.Who needs $8M to be happy.Professional atheletes are overpaid along with poliicians and CEOs.I have no doubt he will be back in boring Nascar just because of the money He can make. One word to me is minor compared to all the other things that are happening. Go Kyle could be one of the greatest dirt track drivers of our time!Dont know what he gest paid but I would bet Jeff Gordon doing broadcasting is making more than several of the Nascar drivers that are lucky to finish in the top 20.

I look at it this way. We all want him in Sprints and we all know he wants to be in sprints. But you don't turn down Nascar money. It's only for another 10 years tops and then he'll be full time WoO. And under 40. And we as Sprint Car fans still get to benefit from it while hes in Cup stacking up money. I want him back in Nascar because he's one of the best drivers in the world and deserves to get paid like it.

I will check for signs of systematic racism when at the races tonight. That is a term that I have heard way too any times.

a logical place to start would be a mirror.... and that should happen after you remember this was about sprint car racing

I for one hopes Kyle goes back to nASCAR, if he gets a top ranked team he will get paid big money. Lets say he stays for 10 years and retires from nASCAR, that gives him the money to put back into dirt racing for the next generation or two of racers. That will help keep the sport alive for many years to come.
Granted, I'll be 75 in ten years and I would rather see Kyle on dirt for those ten years, but I really want my grandkids and great grandkids see dirt racing like I and my kids did. And for that we need people with MONEY to invest in future racers. So Kyle go make all you can so this great sport can go on for many years to come well after I'm long gone.
Rod
p.s. Kyle, please make it nine(9) in a row tonight.

No way he'll come close to 80%. At the moment he's 7 of 18 in winged sprints, granted the last 10 races he has 6 wins and 3 2nds (including 5 wins in a row) but if he gets close to 50% it'll be an all time year.

And you might be totally full of it. You might look at the post that I responded to. I looked back at some of your posts and figured you are another one with whom it is ok when it leans your way and not if it doesn't.

4 wins and two seconds, not to bad. Didn't even have to run the Sunday A main to win speed week(but he did, ran second).

Had to come back to this one buddy. I'll have to check his stats but I bet it's close to 80%. Either way we're both right. This is unprecedented. I know Kinser, Wolfie etc had some impressive streaks, but not against this level of competition. And I actually hope he goes back to Cup racing because he deserves to be paid like one of the best drivers in the world. He'll be back in 10 years anyway.

Wow if that number is close to being accurate he'd be on track to make more money in one year of Cup than his career in Dirt.

Exactly why some of us beg to differ at any suggestion that he won't accept an offer to return to NASCAR.
I love dirt track racing as much as anybody on this forum but not so much that I'd turn down a reported eight million in earnings. A person could do a lot more Sprint Car racing on $8 million as opposed to $250k. Actually when I look at drivers earnings lists I made as much as some of the lower tiered travelers while I was working and used to marvel at how hard they had to work for it compared to my air conditioned office job. Granted I wasn't popular enough to sell merch at the bus stop but I matched some of the driver eanings so most of them aren't getting rich driving Sprint Cars with the majority being part time racers once we get a few rungs down the ladder.

Agreed, but he wouldn't get an $8m contract going back. His brand in the corporate world is damaged considerably.

Hard to say... he seems really happy winning all the time & his kid climbing up on the wing
Yes, money talks, but some people choose happiness over $$$, believe it or not...
Driving 500 miles is not fun, as we all probably know. Driving 500 miles with no AC or tunes & 32 other NASCAR maniacs fighting for position seems kinda hellish to me...
