All Stars vs. PA Posse:

0-31. 1970-present.

TMATT - All Stars won 22 of 43 series races in 2016.  In 2015 All Star regulars Dale Blaney and Cody Darrah swept the Woo twin features at Lernerville.

All Stars have won at Port Royal, Selinsgrove, Lincoln, Bedford and Grandview. 

Have NOT won at Baps yet (Susky).  Although have only held 2 races there.  Joey Kuhn in 1991 and Greg Hodnett in 2017.

Dale Blaney(Port) and Cole Duncan(Path Valley) have also won non-sanctioned shows in central PA. Kemenah won a couple PA speedweek races about 8-10 years ago.

Cole Duncan has never ran the All Stars to my knowledge.

Funny thing is about 3-4years ago we didn't know if the all stars would exist at the end of that season. Last year many people laughed at their driver roster. This year is probably their best list of drivers in decades. It's great to see and hopefully will continue for years to come

I have no problem with someone who prefers an ASCoC event over a WoO event... I agree the format is better, car counts are usually higher, and some fans just like local competition. Yes, Schatz is going to win a lot of WoO races but theres still 10+ WoO regulars at every race that have the ability to win. These guys are the best in the world. To say you wouldn't walk across the street to see them is just stupid. Watch highlights from Bakersfield and Tulare, awesome racing throughout the field in the heats and features.

48 year winless streak. Hope to see it at least turn the big 5-0.

This series seems to be such a great fit for Balog now. Was hoping to see him and the Rhine group jump to All Stars and use Bills car for outlaw and Pennslyvania stuff. Why he continues to dink around in the now depleted IRA series, I have no idea.

Bill has been, the last few years, traveling more and hitting "bigger shows" with more consistency to become a better driver.  He's traveled to PA the last two years.  He has been hitting more shows.  You have to remember he's a car owner, driver, crew chief (though I did hear he's getting more help this year in that realm), etc.  He also has a young family.  He also had a full time job (I believe, but am not sure, that he only recently moved to being a fulltime driver maybe last year).  Also the haul from Wisconsin has to be considered.  Talent-wise yes, but instead of guessing why he does what he does or pontificating an opinion based on lack of knowledge ask him at the track.  I mean that seriously.  Bill (in my experience) is really down to earth.  He admittedly does not have a magnetic personality, but then again nor do I, and can be an introvert, but strike up a convo.  You'd be impressed with how much work and effort he puts into his racing career.  He's expanding further each of the last few years because it makes fiscal and logistical sense to do.  If he had a much, much bigger backing (or sponsor or car owner) and a full time crew he'd probably expedite his plan to travel more.  But who knows, there's a lot to be said for sleeping in your own bed and with your young family.   

Kudos to the All stars for attracting better drivers this year. The 2017 roster was the worst in series history, this group may be one of the best if they all run the full tour.

As to All Stars versus Outlaws, the people have spoken and it’s not close. Outlaws by far.

The only event on the calendar i would skip an outlaw show in favor of an All Star show is Ohio Speedweeks. Outstanding racing, some of the best fields you’ll see in all of sprint car racing and usually really good tracks.

Yes, I have talked to him a few times in the past. My son is a big fan. Was just hoping to see him run more All Star stuff, as I could see him scoring some wins there. There isnt anything wrong running with the IRA either, it just seems from what I heard last week in Paddock Lake, there will maybe be 4-5 100% guys running this year. I missed a lot of second half of the season races last year, as car counts really dwindled as some of these random show ups, started to drop off.
