Ok, so you were an official, so maybe you could explain why a sanctioning body would give preferential treatment to certain drivers, or better yet, explain why they would pick on certain drivers like Butch Schroder? I hear this same crap at every track I've ever been to, and I still can't get anyone to tell me why a track or series would do the things you guys are saying they do. If Jason Sides was getting screwed by the WoO, what $ does he stand to loose if he complains? Jason Sides can choose to race anywhere, no one forced him to be WoO touring driver. According to you Sides has been getting screwed by the WoO yet he keeps coming back for more so he can get screwed for another season, really? Cmon man give me some facts, not some crap you heard from a bunch of fans or on a message board. Conspiracy theories usually come from folks who can't deal with the truth and need some other explanation to deal with the situation. Right now Schatz is the man to beat, those who can't deal with that fact will automatically assume hes cheating, I read it on here all the time. Does anyone have one fact that can prove the preferential treatment, or a reason for why they would give preferential treatment, please post it, otherwise it's all hear say and BS.

you think it dont go on so why should i tell you about it go get a job as a official and see for youself. as the old saying goes the outlaws take care of there own. lets see sides lost around 40,000 for running a allstar race in fargo cause the outlaws wouldnt call him to tell him if he could run it after he tried calling them for 3 days and nobody from the wrg would return his call so he ran it. donny is the best out there hands down and most dont understand why he has the same drive to win as steve had forever and he has had the same cc for how many years (12 or so) i will give you one fact when you get a flat inthe heat race you have to put a scuffed tire of th same compoud on the only ones they check the compound is non regulars and some woo reg put on a different compound and the woo looked the other way and made the dash now is that a good enough for you or is it still bs. drivers dont say shit cause where the hell else are you going to race for 10 grand to win every night. cmon man i have been a crew guy, cc and a official for over 30 years so i have seen alot. if you go or watch woo races you cant say you have not seen good starts that a non reg gets the advantage only to get it called back for jumping and gets move back a row and a jump by a woo reg gets warned and not moved back a row hmmmmm whats that all about.

I don't care if the WoO paid 100,000 a night to win, Id rather run for 1500 and a chance to win then choose a series that I had to beat some of the best in the world AND overcome the unfair officiating to boot.
You keep bringing up Sides, he a freaking WoO driver, So does the WoO take care of their own drivers or screw them out of 40k for running an Allstar race. Cmon 30 year official, make up your mind.
Everything you have cited as foul play, I have also read about in a hoseheads thread at some point in the past, then a little further down the thread someone with facts explains what actually happened. Hosehead conspiracy therorist do not like being faced with facts that discount whatever BS rumor they are trying to spread, then the rumor spreader usually gets pissed and takes his ball and goes home. I guess the balls in your court, you going home or staying?

The next time you are at a WoO race and a regular or local favorite goes to the designated repair area for his "two minute" opportunity to make repairs....check the timing for yourself. Many times it seems like the time piece must be an old hour glass with muddy sand in it. Two minutes everytime my ass!

Over the course of my career, I have been on both sides of these deals. It's easier to deal with when you are cashing real checks on Monday morning versus pocket change. Of course it does suck to watch some rich guy cash the winners check when you saw him light at the scales, but that's a whole different story.

Like I said before, if I owned a car and I entered it in a WoO race, and I WATCHED a rich WoO team allowed to be light at the scale, or allowed to take longer than 2 mins, in the work area, I would raise holy hell about it, they would have to call the police to remove me and my car from the track, then I would hire a lawyer who would take the case pro bono because I have concrete eyewitness proof that I was cheated. I find it very difficult to believe that any team, with the crazy money loss these teams incur, would take it up the ass like that with a smile on their face and then come back and race with them again the following night. But hey that's just me, I guess the other 200 or so teams that choose to compete with the WoO must not mind being cheated and screwed out of money. I guess it's not sour grapes after all, the proof just keeps piling up on this thread. WARNING: All 410 teams not carrying a WoO platinum card, if you CHOOSE to compete in any WoO race, you will be cheated throughout the course of the event to ensure that a WoO platinum member gets every advantage they need win, forget the rule book, the WoO brass will change the rules to suit their drivers needs. And whatever you do, DO NOT protest at the track when you witness the cheating, wait till you get home and start a thread on hoseheads so you can quickly let the whole world know how you got screwed. Then pack up your trailer and go race with them again so you can get screwed all over again. If that's the case, then these car owners and teams have a lot more money than brains. Funny thing is I have yet to see a team owner or driver make these accusation, it's usually some fan getting third hand, beer soaked homer information they then repeat as fact. 91RI, you personally watched a WoO team light at the scales or you heard they were light at the scale? Because if you saw it with your own 2 eyes and you did nothing about it, then your just as bad as the WoO for letting it happen. Blazer00, chances are the WoO race or races which they gave more than 2 mins to a WoO driver were recorded, so let's review the tape, which race was it, I'll get my stop watch and time all the work area stops, should be pretty easy to prove you right. You guys remember when the WoO screwed JJ Grasso in the work area at Lincoln? This message board was ready to burn the WoO and all the teams that stood and watched as JJ got no help from his own crew or anyone else In the work area. Then further down the thread Grasso's crew chief responded saying it was all their fault for not taking a spare or any tools to the work area. My point is, there is usually a perfectly good explanation for all these conspiracy theories and no one is getting screwed.
