I dont like or dislike Darrah. I think he has some talent, but no more than many other young racers out there with deep pockets.

I will say this; When KKR lost sponsorship, they didn't cut Darrah because they had to. The did it because he simply wasn't worth keeping. The results weren't there, and when that's the case, somethings gotta give.

He's looked great with the All Stars. dsc1600 mentioned that the All Stars run a more local circut than WOO. Another poster pointed out that the All Stars have only run 5 races in central PA this year (Cody's Locale). I think dsc1600 meant that the All Stars run fewer tracks than the Outlaws do, therefore making it easier for a driver to get familiar with the tracks, not necissarily that they were previousy Cody's "Local" tracks.

Get what your saying, but not sure how going to a track ONCE that is closer to home makes you more familair with it?  That will take an explanation.  Otherwise, I think he looked better in the 89 in 2009 than he ever has since, even now.  After that, I stand by the post I made earlier.  I'm not a Cody fan (don't dislike him, just indifferent and route for some others more).  A lot of people would love to have Kraig or Sides shitty budget.  That said, it takes more than money to make it work, but it certainly helps.

These tracks that Cody has run are his first time at. Most of you guys can complain about anything. You can find any excuses you may feel that makes the move correct in your mind. I heard in Cody's interview that Kasey is still helping him. Sponsor or not I believe that Kasey has a kid on the way so I wouldn't believe he would be wasting his money on a race team right now. As far as Pittman loosing a ride without sponsorship I believe that Kasey would find something to keep Kale employed foremost.

Ok--fair enough.  But answer this hypothetical question--and be truthful:

KKR loses sponsorship for the 9 car.  Is Pittman out of a job?

Pittman keeps his job. At least for a year. My guess is each team has a budget. That budget can either increase due to

money won or decrease due to damages/repairs/engine issues. Performance alone is the difference between keeping

Pittman and having to let Darrah go. Glad he's having a good year though.

All Star circuit runs far fewer tracks than the Outlaw circuit does. Outlaws have 86 tracks listed on their website. All Stars run at less than 30 different tracks this year. That number could expand in the near future, but I think 25-35 is what you'll be looking at regardless.

You are right, running a track once isn't going to make it more familiar to you. But running the other 5-10 tracks that the AS's run on a regular basis certainly will. They have 5 races at Attica, 6 at Fremont, 4 at Atomic, 4 at Wayne County, and 3 at Eldora to go along with the 14 races they have scheduled at tracks in Cody's native PA. My point is simply that running 30 tracks a year as opposed to 80 would allow someone a much greater chance to become confident with where they are racing.

I wouldn't be surprised if the biggest expense on the WoO tour was travel. If you look at the schedule, they could better the travel cost and time, with some cooperation with track owners/promoters. How many times do the go East, then West and back East again and cover only three shows? Or North, then South and back North again?  Far too often. And some of those didtances are pretty far. And for $800.00 to start a feature?!

Lol! Kale has a job no matter what. Race team, Cup team or even at Factory Kahne with cousin Willie. That boy won't have to worry about not having a job. He will always have a place to stay in Lake Norman also.

Thats what I was trying to get across, No matter what Kale would be there regardless of sponsors and yes his house is on Kasey's property along with the sister's also.
