Haud won the Mopar Million and Stevie Smith in his first ever non wing race at Eldora finished 2nd(138 cars)...Steve Kinser showed up at Eldora took the wing off and beat the USAC/CRA for 10,000 back in the 80s... I asked Steve Kinser about running without the wing during a Q and A at Knoxville and he said it hurts a lot more when you get upside down without a wing on top....  It would be awesome to see Saldana and Darland swap rides for the night...lol...Brady Bacon is today's Jesse Hockett in my opinion....

I should've capped and underlined VERY FEW. Brenterl your reply is exactly what I meant.

Most of the Outlaws wouldn't run without a wing no matter how much it pays and they proved it by not showing up for the Mopar Million. I don't know about you,  but I don't go to races to see the purse, I go to see racing. The Stevie Smith thing was 10 years ago. The USAC guys clean house everywhere they go, now.  Should be a great two days for all that are going. There was one time when USAC and WoO shared the bill on the same day at the Springfield Mile in '82, however, the USAC portion was for Champ Dirt cars.

The Outlaws had a race in Eagle Nebraska the night of the Mopar Million.

The important thing here is that this event is SUPPORTED by the fans.

Tony is talking a risk here, previous years, the two day WoO April / May shows have had many weather issues and the Friday date was not all that well supported.  All reteroic wing/non wing is just BS, this is a darn fine opportunity for any fan.

Hopefully, wing folk will dig the non wing and vice versa and everyone wins in the end, wing cars and non wing cars are both flat out bad ass @ Eldora.

Just show up

Central Pa's Brent Marks is planning to do double duty next weekend at Eldora

Marks will not be running both now. Too much extra work and wants to concentrate on winged car.

Bill,  I just checked his website,  he has Eagle and Knoxville on there and then nothing else until after the 500.   I am betting the practice last Sunday was ceremonial at best....they are running the road course race at Indy this weekend.

With the first WoO invasion next week, I wouldn't expect too many. Maybe Hodnett or Lucas?
