Just watched the videos for both nights at Eldora. All I saw was Madsen race head and shoulders above everyone else's talent. 10 years ago one could say Madsen was rough, very rough. But right now all you can say is he's a top 5 driver in the world. Perhaps at some point in his 20 year career he wrecked YOUR guy so you want to hold it against him forever. But chances are at some point YOUR guy has done the same to someone else.
Kerry is a great promoter of sprint car racing, very good with sponsors and fans, and knows his shit. I respect the hell out of him and have grown to love watching him race after hating his guts for many years. Nothing is handed to this guy. He's earned every ride he's ever had and helped build a number of strong teams.
If Bill W. took down a post it is likely because he realized later it was in poor taste. Glad he did before I read it, cause I probably would have lost respect for him.

Congrats to Madsen on winning last night. He had the fastest car all weekend and deserved to win this race after losing it a few years ago in the Hall #3.
Trust me, I am a fan of his. I own a few shirts and love his gasser mentality. I, along with many others, just don't appreciate driving through other guys on the track. He has come a long way over the years and hope to see continued success for him.

Great job by the Madman and a well desreved Crown after losing a heartbreaker in 2010. Best looking car on the tour as well IMO.

Hey J & J, Kerry doesn't need to watch his back, he can kick anybody's @$$ at anytime on the tour. Kerry's Pop ran a junkyard back in Aussieland and he is the classic junkyard dog but with lots of talent. Great job Kerry, nobody deserved it more than you....

The standard theme on this site is praise someone for running well or winning a race, and then when they start running really well and winning more often, find a reason to bash and hate on them.

I believe Bill W's account was hacked a few weeks back and my guess is that he didn't make the post that was deleted.
IMO, Kerry is much more in control than he was 5-6 years ago and being out on the tour for the past 3-5 years has gotten him the experience to run up front (when it comes down to it, most drivers and teams aren't consistent on the WoO tour until they've been together for 3-4 years (and very few get that luxury, so only a handful are always running up front).
As far as the post complaining about American Racing Wheels sponsoring him, my question to you is this: How does it affect you? Do you own American Racing? If so, there are other cars out there if you dislike him so much. If not, it's none of your business who they sponsor.
The thing with sponsors is that they get to "choose" who they want to be associated with. If they didn't think he was a good ambassador for thier products, they wouldnt' sponsor him. And odds are that it was "MUCH" cheaper to sponsor the Keneric Team that what the TSR or KKR teams are wanting for sponsorship $$$. It's about ROI and I'm guessing that right now, the ROI is VERY GOOD as they are running up front, just won the 2nd biggest race of the season, and are getting plenty of play on TV (cbs sports broadcasts) and the internet (NSSN, Hoseheads, WoO, etc., etc.). If they thought it wasn't worth the $$ invested, they wouldn't be.
