They ran the support divisions' features first with rain on the way? Wow, no track should do that to the fans even if rain isn't on the way. The fans in my area would be irate.

Well let's address where the problem started in my opinion!!!! It wasn't the support classes that ran to long or whatever it goes back to thurs night with rain in the forecast!! The track tilled and opened the whole thing up and then it rained all night and Friday on it so now after A hot laps sat here comes the grader and the rolller and the push trucks to fix the track!! Hmmm Im sure with out all that unneeded work caused from Thursday you woulda got all your laps so really you had there's support classes midgets street stocks and farmin equipment, prep right and I feel you woulda got your full A main in!! There's not a night the farmin support class doesn't run!!!

The relevance of this race is non-existent at this point. Rain has and always will be a factor in that part of the world but it didn't stop people from hauling up there in the past. The year before I went there for the first time - 1991 - they had to run Thursday and Friday on Friday night because Thursday was a washout. Now the three years I got too go - 92, 93, & 94 - we had beautiful weather which was really nice. My last trip there was for the return of the WoO in 94 and it rained but not until the races were over. You can make a big deal about the rain as much as you want but until someone figures out a way to make this race relevant again guaranteed clear blue sky's from Mother Nature aren't gonna fix it. Even if it means switching to 360's - whatever it takes. Anyone involved with that place that doesn't see the need to do SOMETHING to save it isn't doing anyone who wants this event to continue any favors.

My thoughts? ok sure..He did the typical move he has done for years, always out for steve..20k to win and all he wants is beer and hotdog sales..screw the fans and screw the racer..LEGENDED in his own mind continues..
