My dad has an Oliver 66 tractor that was bilt sometime in the 1950's. We needed some parts for the PTO and we were able to find new in box parts so the "obsolete crap" does not fly with me.
|
Those Oliver tractors are tough! We have one too not sure what year...but the generator/allternator is quite powerfull as it interfers with the radio in the shop when its running inside the shop..lol....if you look hard enough, you can find parts for alot of things!
Racing Sprint Cars requires TWO BALLS to drive!
Racing anything else requires NONE!

If you race, we'll be there. Thanks for working so hard..
For those bitchin about the scoreboard, just buy the race monitor app for your phone. $2.99 and you get thousands of races from all over the country.

Why should I pay for an app when Im already paying for a ticket. Im there to watch the races not watch my phone.

Damn, how did we ever manage without scoreboards?!?!?!?! Sounds like my night at the trace is ruined if I can't see how many laps are left, what lap times are ran, or heaven forbid I can't keep track of who the top three are!!!! Might as well stay home I guess. *Sarcasm*

It's not only the fans bitchin, some of the drivers say they were used to seeing the laps left on the board, said they don't always give a lap count under yellows on the raceiver, also when the 410's TT you can't hear the lap times in the infield and for drivers/crew that are busy working/focusing on the car it's a bit easier to glance up at the board to see lap times rather than glued to a phone.

They know there is 1 left when the white comes out

I'm just saying there's an option for you if you must know the times and running order.
no where on your ticket does it say it includes a scoreboard.
yes, I miss it also, but understand that it's not going to be repaired. Get over it.

Yea I spent 555.00 on three season passes..I dont want to stand around with my phone out watchin the laps... those passes were supposed to come with a lap board. Or so it has for the last 20 years... my wife hates it. I have to deal with it. So IMO this is karma for not getting your shit fixed! Jus sayin.

LOL, your post makes the most sense of anything I've seen regarding technology in quite a while. I'm not sure how racing could have survived for a century without smart phones and Aps. Some of us remember waiting a week for NSSN to come in the mail so we could find out who won at those far away exotic places like Husets. Nowadays people bitch like hell if there's not live Twitter updates and race hilites posted on YouTube minutes after the race. ;)
