Its called clean air! You put any of the top 6 teams on the front row, and they are going to pull away in clean air just like they do in most all types of racing.
The race Daryn won at new egypt was awesome. He started second, but it took him 2/3rds the race to get by the Mad Man.
All you haters are crazy. There's no perfect system. Did you see the crowd last night, and at every other race this season?
Shut your pie holes and go to a race. Enjoy it and be happy the WoO and sprint car racing exists.

As long as we have a pit full of clones on skating rinks, this is what we will continue to see. Either take the crutch off and water the track or give them some real power and water the track. A buddy of mine used to say why don't they see how slow they can go so no one gets hurt. That makes as much sense as the spec stuff we have these days.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

dirtlover: "I invite you to explain why woo racing has been what it has this year? Front row winners"
couple questions for you. Who won the grove lastnight? Where did he start?

I'll go one further, where did every winner last night across the nation in sprint car racing start. I bet a good majority was from either the front row or the second row. Go even further across history, look up the starting position of every winner and a good percentage will come from either the front row or the second row. Like you said earlier the RACING was good and close and on the edge for about 85% of the race. I don't know what people want out of a SPRINT CAR race that is 30-40 laps long. The racing was close, it wasn't single file on the cushion the whole time. Maybe these people who complain all the time without actually watching the race and just look at the stats want them to put something like a restrictor plate on the engines of the top 5. Better yet if you qualify in the top 5 then you have to change your engine to a 305, while positions 6-15 have to use a 360 and everyone else can use a 410.
If you want constant passing and meaningless leader changes each lap then DVR every talladega and daytona race and watch them every friday and saturday night. If you want to watch racing then go to a track, buy a ticket, and watch the race and if its boring which they rarely are then you can complain.

You make it sound like only the WoO has winners coming from the front row, figured I would open your eyes a bit and show you it's not just the WoO who has winners from the front row per my example of the Grove from lastnight...

I must have my rose colored Woo glasses on because that was a fun race to watch last night. Nice run by Schuchart, he wants a win really bad and you can see how hard he's racing to get it, Ive watched about 80% of the Outlaw races on dirtvision this year and yes a few have been snoozers ( none worse than Williamsgrove) but most have been really good races, or maybe im just not expecting as much as some of you elite fans who cant be pleased. I said it before, if you hate it so much stop watching or find a new hobby because there are thousands of fans who enjoy the racing just like it is.

I just watched the highlights again, how can you possibly say that was bad follow the leader racing? There were three grooves, high, low, and middle with cars going 2 and 3 wide all over the place, what the hell do you want? Follow the leader freight train racing is when there is one groove and everyone stays in a straight line and dosnt dare get out of the groove because they will go backward. If Pittman would have won from 14th or wherever he started last night, would it have been considered good racing? if so, why? I feel sorry for you haters that was some great racing and I dont care where anyone started or finished, if I can see close racing like that Im more than satisfied.

Jake just for your info Isponsor a 410 outlaw car, I work on a 410 outlaw car and go to 80 plus races a year worldwide. Nascar dosent get mentioned in my expression. If you choose to wear rose colored lenses and think the sport is healthy well keep drinking and live in land of dislussion. Dirt lover thank you for being honest and not predjudice in your viewing of sprint cars. Some of these nut jobs see a sprint car sitting on the pavement and will tell you it was a great race. Jake have another schlitz malt and keep imagining its as good as its ever been its taking you places!

I went to the Kings Royal for the first time last year. Brad Sweet and Brandon Wimmer started on the front row and Sweet won. So that race must have sucked, right? After all, it was just another winner coming from the front row. Watch the highlights of Sweet's heat when he started in the back because of a bad time but hauled it to the front to win and then watch the highlights of the race when he was three wide with Schatz and Wimmer and tell me that race sucked because Sweet started on the front row and led every lap. Quit whining and be happy we still have the amount of tracks and races we do. Think about all the tracks that have closed down: Manzy, Ascot, Baylands, etc - that's something to be unhappy about.

So then whats the answer? what needs to be done to make the racing better or up to your standards? I dont have any affiliation with an outlaw team but I help on a 360 car at a local level and I dont think that makes my opinion any more important than someone who gets excited about a sprintcar sitting on pavement , I enjoy most of the racing I see, I dont like a snoozer either but last night was not a freight train one groove race like you guys are making it sound. What is so bad about the present state of sprint car racing? Maybe it is rose colored glasses or maybe its a positive attitude, or maybe its not as bad as you and the other negative "fans" say it is. I must ask, if you think Sprint car racing is so bad why would you sponsor and work on an outlaw car and go to 80 races a year worldwide? Makes no sense to me, clearly your time and money could be used on somthing you actulally enjoy.

I love the people who don't go to the race or watch it on dirtvision complaining about the quality of the racing. Totally ridiculous.

If this board was limited to people who were actually at the race they are commenting on, there would be almost no traffic at all on here.
