I swear. The add that was above A500tt's post was a trailer with an add for a 'Mobile Hanger' with a drawing. Seemed wierd but it was there and in this post of all.

I know you didn't mean anything...
Anytime a mechanic works for a company (certified repair station), they are covered under their insurance. If I were to go out and make repairs on "Joe Blows" aircraft, then I am liable.
All military aircraft contract work is done by an independant contracting company such as DynCorp (who I worked for), Lear Siegler, Raytheon, L3 and such. And by law, even though it is military, they have to have a FAA Repair Station Certificate and in turn, have to have the liability insurance.

That's a function of Google ads keying in on the topic of the post and delivering in-context keyword targeted ads.

I am surprised you folks are in awe regarding waste. The US Government wastes a good annual wage every ten seconds. I worked at Wright Patterson and the waste there in a day is beyond comprehension. The simple norm for government bodies from the smallest village to DC.But behold dear taxpayer we have a new party coming in office so all is well. The waste will disappear or maybe just change colors. Hey Hawker, buy a flack jacket and get on the next big silver bird. LIFE, you only have one live it!
