We know Sammy is one of the best if not the best. We know he has a brand new chassis from the best builder. We know Todd has plenty of cash..... It must be the engine design!
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

The old, washed-up guy starts in the second row tonight. Which way will he go?

Sammy looks bad this year again, he can't qualify anymore which used to be a strongpoint of his and in the a mains
he can't pass a car and like last night he is going backwards in the a mains now. This is not typical of him and if his efforts stay the same my question is why the hell would he want to do this anymore and tarnish his abilities like this to the public eye and lshow such bad performance??? Why would Todd put up with this out of Sammy? Cause he is Sammy? I'm a fan of Sammy but I am a fan of him going home rather then looking washed up like this cause it's hard to stomach. You Sammy fans will chime in and try to help explain but I'm sure you haters will begin to take your shots

His demise has been greetly exaggerated as he did ok at Tulare. You guys said same of Steve last year. It is a long season to go .

It seem since brian bloomfield joined the team last year or the year before. Sammy has tried to figure it out. It is possible that he is over think it?

Is that a question?

I agree. They should start running Ford's. They'll won't have as much power and the tires won't be spinning as bad.

I have such a love/hate thing for Sammy. Everytime I start to respect him, he does something like he did at the Chili Bowl this year. Keith Kunz should have laid him out like Steve has done so many times over the years.

Being a lap down and racing the leaders; checkin' up to block Bell while a lap down, etc....

I can't imagine sprint car racing without him though. Not looking forward to the day he hangs it up.

I was being sarcastic. Of coarse anyone with a brain knows that as long as you have a small block chevy in your sprint car any and all issues, problems and lack of performace is always always always something other than your engine design..... not ever ever worth even a second of debate. Case closed. If you have the best driver, millions of dollars, the best mechanic, great luck and still suck, just go home before ever even considering anything but your mighty sbc.
