wasnt that the same CJB team that kicked some ass at last years national open with 2 new drivers, leppo (who never sat in the car before) and paulie m? while rahmer looked on from the pits with a hole in his block. jackson made those two look REAL good........i guess at that point, rahmer should have retired cause everyone had him pegged as "too old" or "lost his edge"....but he took a middle of the pack team and a crew chief he could trust to give him the car he wanted and tore shit up this year.....so much for middle of the pack car with a washed up driver. natty o win and 2 (maybe 3, if he gets susky) championships as well as going out a winner on his own terms.

spin it any way you want but no one goes from looking as bad as he did last year to looking as good as he did this year without help in both cases cause good or bad, he sure as hell didnt forget how to drive.

ps....im not a big rahmer fan but he impressed the shit outta me this season!

The chemistry between Rahmer and the 51 team towards the end of last year was BAD.  I know nothing about what went on, that's just based on results.  I'm a Brian Leppo fan, and he immediately ran lights out in that car, but Brian would probably tell you it's a good day if you can outrun Fred Rahmer in Pennsylvania.  They make movies out of what he did a few weekends ago.  I didn't know anyone but Donny Schatz could still take over a race like that in this day and age...

Especially after the owner had chased away all the sponsors that Fred brings along.

Food for Thought:

Would Rahmer have done so well this year if Householder wouldn't have fixed the pill draws in his favor night after night?

When did the owners chase the sponsors away?  As you said they were Fred's sponsors. So it only makes logical sense that they were going to back Fred and go wherever Fred was going after he quit the 51.  Seems pretty simple to me.  So don't blame CJB for the sponsors leaving.

As I stated above, they were going wherever Fred went.  Not rocket science.

MHS is/was on the right hand side of the car, just behind Fred's head.  MHS and Miller Bros. also were on Freddie Jr's Speedster and 305 while NOT being on the 51.

Raybeard could you please explain in detail how the pill draw was "fixed" .  The reason i ask is because we  are looking for a little edge on the competition at our local track. " Fixing the pill draw seems to be a much way to improve our results vs buying more horsepower or new tires.  We have tried voodoo and some rather sketchy forms of witchcraft in the past but never with any concrete results.  The crystal ball thing trying guess the right time trial number to sand bag the front row has been a complete wash so any help would be greatly appreciatted. Thanks in advance.

Concering Miller and MHS "leaving the 51" can you fill me in on why?  You appear to know much more than I about the subject.  So fire away.

As far as them coming back and supporting Fred, did they sponsor the 20 or was Fred just given them one last shout out?  He has historically been known to put stickers on the car for longtime supporters even when there was no $$ exchanged.

Anybody can put stickers on their kids car as support of their big car sponsor, right?

YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED TO SPEAK WITH A FEW OF THE SPONSORS THAN.

You do the research. I know the answers. Alot of real info gets twisted & turned before it reaches the bleacher creatures.

No research needed. I know the all FACTS. No twisted info here. My source is very credible.

so many things go on that very few people hear about. "reliable sources" usually keep their mouth shut.....the best quote i heard all year was from a top driver that said "if fans really knew what goes on behind the scenes, they would hate 95% of the people involved in racing"

sometimes all it takes is to pay real close attention and make your own judgements.....then keep your mouth shut.
