Scott said he decided to leave the 82 car because he couldn't commit to the "grueling" schedule they had planned.

There's probably a lot of truth in that. Between 360 and 410 shows, that team wants to run over 100 dates during the season. Depending on Scott's personal situation, he may not want to be out on the road that much. Considering how volatile that ride has been as a driver-go-round, I'd think twice about quitting a full-time job or a different ride before going out on the road full-time with the BWW team. He probably tried it for a while, realized it wasn't for him, and is moving on before getting too involved. Nothing dishonorable about that.

Clearly, the choice should be Robert Bell!! He can get along with anyone and probably would like to race a 100 plus race season!

Very good post Backspacer! I think you hit the nail on the head! The BWW 82 car-team has had some pretty good talent behind the wheel the last couple years and and not much success for that team.

What about IRA's Bill Balog? He has the talent and is ready to take it to the next level, all he needs is ride to get there. He just topped the IRA all time win list, 17 wins with the ira this season alone. He wins over guys like tatnell, wolfe, and whitney every year and has beat alot of other big names over the past few season. he has had good runs with the outlaws and put on a good show against Tony Stewart this year at Plymouth WI, almost taking home the win.
