Kyle is entered in all 3 nights for Trohpy Cup (wing/non-wing)  I thought he was last year, than someone said Kyle could not race non-wing sprint cars anymore and Kyle skipped the non-wing portion.  But I thought I heard Kyle say he was never told he could not run non-wing.  I'll be there either way, last year Bernal and Kaeding put on a hell of show for non-wing side, and winged Trophy CUp is probably the best race there is.  Be fun watching Kaeding and Larson come thru the field, just hope kYle can qualify better this year.

That was some of the best racing I've seen this year. Both nights. Congrats to all. The track looks great and the racing is even better. I had a blast.

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Some folks think Ganassi will stop Larson from running sprints and midgets.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

BTW I will have the pleasure of seeing him run with the Outlaws at the Gold Cup

See you at the Gold cup .

This meeting has already taken place.  not going into much but Kyle was told he could run but limited schedule. Kyle is also working on a sprint team. had that meeting last week in NC. Dave has been the money behind Kyles ride this year and stated it was for Kyle only that is why Shane is not running the last few races unless changes are made till then.

hopefully someone with some money sense can guide this kid through.

I'm sure Kasey or Tony can give him a few pointers and direct him towards the right people.

Place goes nutts when he wins but not a word of him cheating and getting caught in yesterday's nationwide race......

Larson is a driver.  He has nothing to do with mechanics of car.  It does not take much to violate a NASCAR rule.  If a car is .010 inch to low it is to low and not legal.

An investment well worth it Abreu says. Wait and see how Kyle gives back to the sprint car community. Oh yeah, Kyle still swept the night, regardless of what 1 hater says.

its called a sponsor or a car owner you dipshit. most racers have one or both unless they are lucky enough to be financially able to do it without one.

and next year target will be the money behind larsons primary ride. and in a few years larson himself will be the money behind someone ele's sprint car ride.

maybe if you ran your little kart thingy half as well as you run your mouth you might have a sponsor.

And yet the cars that failed at Daytona had aero cheats on it ......

still waiting for you to clarify your statement.

as pointed out at daytona in feb larsons car was destroyed and his team car of danica that was suspected of having frame rail modifications that wouls allow better areo was found to be legal at the nascar R&D center.

in the july daytona event 16 cup cars and 15 nationwide cars were found to have unapproved roof flap spacers. the teama with unapproved spacers were made to replace them before hitting the track. no fines or penalties were given since it was a non performance gaining modification.

by the way, larsons car was not one of the cars found with unapproved spacers.

Willie lacks a sponsor because no one wants to sponsor the last place car who gets lapped 3 times in a ten lap heat. Hey Willie, what are your racing plans for the rest of this year and next? I'm sure we'd all love to see your "results".

I found the results for the midget race but the only results I found for a sprint car race last night at Calistoga showed Bud Kaeding winning.  What am I missing and thanx for any help.

Of course the meeting has taken place because the contract has been signed and the fact he ran last night shows he can still run open wheeled stuff. The rest of it all falls under priority's and I'm thinking a sprint car team is not at the top of the list, at least not yet.

It seems my MSN browser that's my default through Internet Explorer will show the link with a simple cut and paste, but my Chrome will not.  That’s just one of two things that are screwed up now, the other is the edit.
I'm sure you know that if you go to the top of this page and click home, it will show a list of all the sites hooked up to HOSEHEADS, including SCRAFAN.COM

i haven't tried to cut and pate recently in IE but i know i have been able to in the past. since i use firefox for all my racing stuff i just don't like taking the time to switch browsers for this site as everything used to work just fine before they "updated" it.
