Yea more like got ran over under caution if you watch the video slowly it tells the truth gee I would be mad also. And i only think he was blaming one guy however I don't know this for sure.
Wasn't long ago when 17b was yelling at someone after he got punted coming out of 2 and in the end it is a just a racing deal so go on to the next week and forget about it and drink some beer get the knot's out of your shorts.
And the BWW ride compared to the 17b I would say is not as good say whatever you want Sh-- it is!

Ohh that same video that shows Reinke making a hard right to avoid a spun car. To cars going for one spot he ended up getting the raw end of the deal. That was a racing deal. Talked to a few ppl after along with the 5j crew and it was a racing deal. As for Balog getting punted i hope your not reffering to last season when the 80k took him out at 141 Speedway. Wasnt the first time he did that and wont b the last. In the end Balog keeps winning and will 6peat. The greatest IRA has ever seen

Like I said above, it was in the end a racing deal under caution check it out. It is very clear! Oh and I bet when the 5j punted the 7 earlier, it was a racing deal right? They are all racing deals in the end, right?
And no I am not reffering to 141 clearly there 17b bounced off the wall and hit the 80k, 80k made a very aggressive move but never touched the 17b looks like brakes and a steering wheel should be painted orange or something on that car.
The incident i am talking about was at Beaver Dam a few years ago can't remember who the other car was!
Six in a row what has it done for him? Really what has it done? Large sponsorships--top quality outlaw ride? Yep nothing!
I just say it as I see it---like every driver and of course we have our favorites! There are some fine drivers and good people that race with the IRA. 53w nicest guy you could ever meet...

Yea its very clear Reinke tunred up the tracl to avoid the spun car. Balog had a run. Think what u want but if anyone is at fault it Reinke. as for 141 ill get the link for you where 80k diamonds off turn one and throws a slider that ended up punting Balog into the frnce. That was all 80k just like at Plymouth last yr with Ty Bartz and this yr at Wilmot with 2w. And dont argue a point that you dont know when it happened or with who. In the end Balog is one of the best to ever race IRA. As for outlaws i hope he doesnt win they have how many nights a yr they run. Close to 100. Thats their job fpr Balog its a hobby. 5th at LaSalle and 5th or 6th at Cedar Lake..

Yup, just that easy. He should just quit his job, leave the wife and kid at home, get a couple of his friends to quit their jobs and leave their families at home, cash in the 401k plan, and take that money along with the 10k that you get for an IRA championship and go become a professional sprint car driver. It's really just that easy. (rolls eyes)
The constant talk of "he should do this, he should do that, he needs to move on" is lame and disrespectful. Bill is a local racer, that's it. His schedule and funding allows him to race locally on a regular basis, while occasionally hitting some bigger events.
All the bed wetters should be happy to know he won't be at 141 on Sunday because he'll be running a midget at Sun Prairie.
I can see it now...the parking lot will be completely full, every seat will be filled, and every last double cheeseburger and Diet Coke will be consumed as haters from miles and miles around will all be back at the sprint car races because they know that Darth Balog won't be there to steal their favorite driver's money yet again.
(fast forward to Sunday night)
Bubba the Hater says: "Wait? What the...? You can't be serious? The Pepsi Nationals are...RAINED OUT?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
"They'll learn."

Agree with every word that was said. All the haters are so caught up in that he shouldnt be running IRA instead should take it as it comes and open their eyes to the history he has made and will make once he wins 4 more A-mains. Haters hating on greatness. The guy races local and honestly he is about the only one that is making any money in Ira. Travel cost car upkeep idk anyone else that makes enough not winning lol

Where was I bitching ?? We got Hannagan Winning about every Friday night at Limaland in a 360. Big fish in a little pond. If I'm not mistaken he ran All Stars & WOO. No I'm not mistaken.
I do get to see great racing with 1 track running winged 360's & 1 running non wingers within 20 minutes from my house. Pretty good variety if ya ask me.

That was to see who was paying attention. Kody had that fire because they took too long to flip the car back over.

I know he was MAD when he got out of the car. I could hear him screaming profanities all the way from the back stretch grandstands. Figured that it was probably due to the fire. Thanks for sharing the video! Place was bad fast that night

Gunner, WOW so thats why the car had the flash fire.....it wasnt due to the fuel leaking onto the hot brakes.....I would think you wouldnt be so quick to assume thats what caused the fire without finding out the cause BEFORE you posted something. Just a thought. Might want to check with IRA Offials at the next race, I think you would be more informed. Again just a thought.

I think the profanities he was screaming was something like why the f... arent the slow cars off the track. Never heard anything about the fire and my hearing aid was turned up and I think I was standing right next to him....oh ya on the track.

We went over to La Salle for this show. It was the first time we'd been to La Salle in probably 10 years and we live within 40 minutes of the track. Nothing against La Salle Speedway but it's a solid late model/modified track.
Since we're not huge winged racing fans we went over mainly to say hello to Jack Hewitt since he was there with his 2 seater and the track is really close to us and the wingless cars don't race in our neck of the woods very often. Given all that, we decided to take in the IRA/MOWA show and I'm glad we did.
I've gone to many late model shows at La Salle in the past and track prep is usually top-notch and that seemed to be the case Saturday night, as well. Problem was it was as dirty as I've ever seen La Salle. We understand this is sometimes part of a dirt track experience and have no problem with it but a young couple with their two young sons setting right in front of us had never been to a dirt track event before. They were mortified. The boys weren't having a very good time at all due to the dust and grit that was pelting them on the left side of their faces and their parents were even less thrilled than their sons.
I tried to explain that this is the exception, not the rule but I'm sure this family won't be back to a dirt track of any kind anytime soon, if ever. There were many others that left early because of how dirty it was. I felt bad for this family since I know what they spent to attend this race and we did our best to explain the situation to them but I'm thinking we lost 4 potential fans along with how many others who felt the same way.
There was as big of a crowd at La Salle as I've ever seen there, even for the big late model shows. Too bad it was the way it was.
|
I was very upset with the dust in the stands. Our crowd was up this year - and probably because of last years show. Last year the track had grip throughout the feature and zero dust. Side by side wheelies and one caution - It was one of the best races I've ever seen. That's what brings people back the next year. Maybe the track prep this year was spooked by the rain several days earlier or maybe lack of give a damn. Three support groups didn't help either. We know people won't come back next year with their kids if we keep them out till 11:30PM and throw dust on them. Some ideas for 2014 are an all open wheel show, one support group, $5000 to win, put Jack on the track 2-3 more times with the 2 seater and a "bounty" on Balog.
