I  cant believe NARC folded in 2000 after 40 years, and still cant understand why someone or group with $$ did not step up and takeover.

Not every one was happy with the demise of Narc. Most of us older guys remember what

happened and why a few promoters decided Narc was no longer needed.. One or more of the

promoters wanted to keep Narc, not to mention names.  BK was on the Narc board as the

drivers rep and he fought hard to keep Narc but his efforts were of no avail..  BK, love him or

hate him but he may be the right person to head a sanction body when he decides his racing days

are over with, behind the scene he probably has done as much anyone has in this area to help and

keep 410 racing  alive..   Dan for sure did his best, but like alot of other fans i though it was a

mistake to try and make it work in Nevada, that was and is my opinion and i may still be wrong.

The fan base is pretty much in the valley and greater bay area, when the 410's where at Antioch,

Petaluma and Watsonville this year they had good crowds..

There's also a few of us old guys that remember that there was a lot more to it than just that. I'll just leave it at that.........
