Here, try saying this over and over: "I live in a State where fantasy is an industry"

Aw, you have such a way with words....unfortunately they don't cover your dislike for a driver nor your feeble attemp to diminish his accomplishments.  Trying to make short of the accomplishments of Larson by saying Stewart is a "one man machine" really makes no sense and I seriously doubt Shane would agree with what you are saying about him.

Oh my gosh.  It's like groundhog day around here.

No you're right.  The last thing Stewart would say is that he is a one man machine.  Hence why the first words out of his mouth reflect who he is surrounded by.

Anyway, you dopes have been fun.  My inbox is filled with people telling me how people like you just don't get it and I must try to convince them that you guys are just lovestruck.

Casprintman, don't waste your time, you don't have a f______ clue about anything sprintcar racing, other than "LARSON".

I see another "wordsmith" has joined the conversation!

It's funny all this conversation when word is that the two are working on a deal for next year that will house a car for them as a team, maybe housed in NC

There's your chance BLEW, you can go restore and drive their haulers so poor Shane Stewart doesn't have to. AND while there you can impart some of that majical wisdom, oh great Obi Wan Kenobi!

Thanks, thats the answer I was looking for.  He's no Shane Stewart.  Why the hell SHOULD he want to indeed.

I think I have a solution to the problem that will make you happy and give Shane Stewart a fair shake since he obviously is not getting his due.  (although over the last 3 years he got more chatter at Knoxville than almost any other driver)

When Larson lands his big Cup ride, he can have Shane re-wire the trailer and drive the hauler.  If he is having issues, Shane can adjust the car during pit stops.  That way, everyone wins!

(sorry Shane--just making a point to the brain dead--keep driving the wheels off a sprint car)

Both drivers are amazing. Larson in a younger form. Kyle has already said if he could own his own Outlaws team right now he would hire Mr. Stewart to wheel it. These guys have a ton of respect for each other. Lets just sit back and enjoy the feature tonight. Should be a hell of a barn burner!

I don't know who this Casprintman is, but THAT IS NOT ME. Please stop sending me private messages or tweets regarding his/her posts. I know there are some kids out here that post nonstop about Larson, but I am a fan of all CaliClique drivers...not just an over zealous mancrush on one kid.

It's cool. I was getting crazy emails, texts and tweets from drivers, crew members and fans saying I was pouring it on too thick. He has made it and we didn't need to push his name like we did three/four years ago.

I'm glad we could cleer this up.

To the original poster....I gotta disagree with your comment about Stewart being young and agressive and willing to put the car in a predicament that an older "money racer" wouldn't.....Although not near as old as some guys, Shane can and does take care of equipment like those old "money racers" do....He and Silva won the ASCS national title with about a third as much equipment as all the other teams that did the tour that year.....and they did it on a budget that forced them to use tonights winnings to get to tomorrows race... Stewart clearly kept the car out of bad spots in order to be able to keep running, and winning the title tells me that he was able to be fast as hell while being conservative with the equipment.

Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

ahh crap don't let that info out of the bag. Egas and the Larsonwannabes won't know what to do knowing those two look straight across at each other rather than down on one like the blowhards like to do.

Hi Darnall, Thank you for the intelligent, calm reply. How refreshing! Ha!

My original post was to, not only agree with others that Kyle Larson is awesome, in whatever he drives, but to also mention Shane Stewart. Because, as far as 410 sprints, I think they both are really hot right now, and after seeing them both race,I think both are underated a bit as well.

I think it is ok to compare the two because they both fly around the country and drive different cars and both have an outlaw schedule and they are a legit threat to win races, even at places that they are unfamiliar with.

My comments about being aggressive and not being careful with equipment were mostly in reference to Kyle, and I am glad that you brought up some good facts about Shane and Paul doing amazing things with minimal money. Shane is awesome and aggressive and also takes care of stuff, I agree. But I do think that Shane somehow manages to be more aggressive than others and still stays out of trouble.  I think you back up my point that Shane should be mentioned in any conversation about drivers who are at their best right now. And I don't think Kyle tears up equipment, that's not what I meant, but I think being so young, he is more apt to take chances on the track that others will not.

In any case, these guys can drive, no question!

Its pretty simple if you ask me Shane worked to where he has gotten in the sport with his two hands ......Kyle is where he is at thru someones check book. It is pretty sweet when you see hard work prevail like tonight and get to watch the chosen one force a smile with his third place finish.

I don't aim to please.

Where did Shane Stewart finish in the Nationwide race earlier in the day Saturday? I didn't see all the results but I know Larson finished fifth.
