Nope I would'nt watch it. I support my local dirt track on Saturday night. Napcar is for Sundays.

Agree with a couple of you--Bristol covered in dirt again and Knoxville stick out as potential sights for upcoming events.

To follow up on AINT NO FOOL's post--I think all short track racing in Nascar should be done:

1.  at night

2.  1 Qualifying lap--with points awarded for qualifying to avoid sandbagging

3.  inverted 10-12 car heats--20-30 laps each--passing points and finishing points awarded--mains set by qualifying and heat race points with only the top 2 in each heat guaranteed a starting spot in the A-main.

4.  B-main--75 laps--top 4 or 6 to main event

5.  A-main--100 laps

Would you at least tune in to this on Saturday night to see if it was a little more exciting?  Your a liar if you say no.

Ya, I'd watch that for sure egras, and lord knows I'm not much of a NASCAR fan in it's current state.  That's whay I love the Daytona 500 format....though not as cool as what you propose, 41 of the driveres have to race their way into that field (i know there are provisionals).

I'm liking the idea that Indy car is using with twin races on the same weekend also, although I think that is just on street courses so far.

EDIT: " Nascar Camping World Truck Series "

The post edit function seems to be not quite working with this new forum update, just an FYI.

These are the actual Nascar trucks not dirt chassis.

Here is a test session with Tony Stewart at the wheel:
