Just because tony called him an a-hole after a wreck does boy mean much. We all have friends who have been an a-hole at one time or another. I think if Steve loses his ride it will be for performance and sponsorship issues.
Personally, I would like to see TSR put Steve on the road for a retirement tour next year. I would also like for TSR to work with all of the old sponsors to have tribute paint schemes. Coors light, valviline, Quaker state., etc. it would seem that getting sponsors excited about a retirement tour would be easy. Imagine the amount of press this would get.

All I can say about this deal is. Out of the 24 cars on the track last night, only one of them was running for fun last night and not a pay check!!!! I only hope it wasn't anything more than a Tony stunt for fun? Because it looks bad in a lot of ways in terms of sponsors and fans!! JMO

gee a dirt track racer gets pissed off at another racer after a wreck and is not happy, hell most of the time even if the fight, the racers are over the issue the next day and have moved on trying to win the next race, the forum racers sure make big deals out of what most of the racers say is over

Maybe Tony is taking a page from the France's playbook when he (Tony first broke into the Cup series) after he got all revved up about a call for a 'phantom yellow' that cost him a supposed win. "It's all about the "show" Look at the publicity this is getting versus ignoring the incident or saying "it was good hard racing this stuff happens and I understand"

Tony's night was over when he couldn't get by Wimmer in the heat race. The interview was a real moment but reality is if you start up front your odds of winning are exponetially better
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Im a Swindell fan, I don't find what smoke did respectful at all. Maybe a Kinser clan shoulda reminded the hot head where he was. At a dirt track race. Kinser should walk away and tell smoke to find another driver. If I were Kinser, I wouldn't want to ever race for him.

Wasn't Pittman involved? I know Tony apologized to Steve after the A and they talked. it's the royal no one wants to give an inch. Drivers need to cool down a bit before the mic is shoved in their face.
