A good percentage of Sammy haters are absolute morons, this post was started by one and some of the lemmings followed behind, as per usual. Some things never change.

The Swindells are definitely having a humbling year, which they need and deserve. Looks like all the #stillwinning and the #swinning finally caught up to them. I respect Sammy and enjoy watching him race but you have to be respectful in the process of being successful.

Humbling??? Started off pretty well at the Chili Bowl and sit somewhere around 4th in points with the best in the business, what dictionary are you using. You use the word respect and then finish you stupidity with a sentence that makes little sense, as a result I have little respect of your posting capabilities. That's using the word properly in a sentence, but I respect you as a person, much like you said you do Sammy.....

I'm pretty confident the boasting about their success last year had nothing to do with the Swindells thus my barbs are directed at the ones (primarily the one whose name starts with "Glad") who spent the entire year last year shoving it down everyone's throats. It's irritating because the "faithful" seem to think that we dislike Sammy because he wins or dislike it when he wins which I can confidently say is not the case. We dislike the man because he has been and can without warning be a complete ass. If he wins and doesn't act like an ass in the process I have no problem with it. If you want to make a big deal every time the grumpy old man wins then you can't get your pantys in a wad if we chose to make a big deal every time he acts like an ass or, as is the case this year, he's not doing so well. I also love how quiet you guys get when he steps on his pecker all by himself like he did during hot laps for the dash (or was it a heat?) during the World Finals last year. You want to give it you gotta take it too :-)!

Either way, you have to respect the fact that he publicly admitted his mistake.

I don't hate Sammy, far from it actually. I actually admire his work ethic, respect his talents and enjoy watching him race., just don't enjoy his "bitchyness". His douschy kid on the other hand, I can do without. The kid has talent, but is wasting years of his life trying to be a stock car driver.

So you dislike the man because he doesn't use the "right words when he has a microphone in his face after a race" why don't you try a different way of thinking about drivers. When you go to a race try to see if it is exciting and if the drivers have talent, maybe then you would see why there are Sammy fans as well as Kinser fans and a whole lot of other fans that watch this sport. What a driver says when interviewed should not mean anything to a real fan period.

I think Sammy will be at Jackson, MN on 6-14 and Knoxville 6-15 so if those with an extreme dislike for 'Slammin' and if you would possibly be in attendance at either one or both, you should plan to visit him after the races and simply tell him your true feelings to his face. ;)

I'll never forget. As a child my mother wanted me to learn to play the piano. I refused because I wanted to play sports. Football and baseball. Later she wanted me to learn to play the guitar. Are you kidding me. Kevin is doing what Kevin feels is best. It is not mine, yours, not even Sammy or Amy's call on what Kevin does with his life. He is his own man and can make is own decisions. How dare you make this statement. And most people driving sprint cars will tell you only a small few will make a living in one. Just by choice I wish I had the talent to waste my life driving in NASCAR......Lets agree on a couple of one things though. We both would love to see Kevin racing on dirt. And can we agree Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Dave Blaney, Kyle Larson, AJ Foyt, Johnny Rutherford, Mario Andretti and so many others must have wasted their life too!

That's a pretty broad statement. I'm curious as to where this info originated. Was it by you? If so, have you interviewed EVERY driver he has raced against.? While I'm not, by a long shot, a fan of Sammy your statement rings of great prejudice. Or just maybe it could be jealousy.
