Well does anyone one else know if any other team ran out of fuel?? I know Ashley Smith (crew chief #0 car) and worked with him for years and find that car low on fuel a big question?? Maybe fuel system? Something wrong with picture especially a car running out for four laps?? I know they run a baffle. Weird?????

They ran a whole bunch of caution laps last night. On the video, it looked like there were a couple of cars having issues with pick up.

Sammy also ran out of fuel, running 7th at the time, dropped to wherever he ended up as a result.

It was pretty obvious (at least to me) that in the video you can see his car sputtering off the exit of the turns at the end and when on the straight it picked the fuel back up. When sprint cars get low they tend to starve for fuel in the turns and get what little is left on the straights. On the last lap exiting 4 you can clearly see his car just fall off. Make no mistake his was the car to beat at the end but unfortunately luck and the lack of fuel cost him. Still an amazing drive that never gets old to witness.

This may have already been clarified, but just in case. Kyle has NOT been in a sprint car since November. Not a pavement one, not a non winged one and not a winged one. He Has been in a midget multiple times including twice last weekend in Arizona. He also won a pavement midget race in Florida. I also heard he is not allowed to run non winged cars after his wreck at Eldora.
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Two top five finishes.
No equipment damaged.
Good two nights of racing for the WILLIAMS MOTORSPORTS #0.
At least that will pay for their fuel over and back!
