I'm not saying if its true or not, I have no idea, that's why I asked if the couple people who said they had found something about it online would post a link, that's it. Not sure why your mad at me, I simply asked for more info if there is actually anymore info. Disclaimer101 was the first to bring it up on this thread, question him as to what he's talking about if you think this is just rumor and has no merit.

Its a fact is public record. His bases is that he will loose income from being fired and not enough time to put a good team together. This will bring new nascar contracts for the paid drivers. He's asking for a good amount if dough

So was Joey fired or they just didn't renew his contract? Cause there's a big difference there, if KKR just didn't renew his contract and it was up he really has no repercussion against anyone, a contract is either renewed or it isn't, the person with the checkbook gets to decide. If he has a contract with them and KKR broke the contract and fired him I would think that KKR is a professionally ran company that had merit as to why they fired him and had a contract breakable reason or they would know they would be sued for breaking the contract.
I like Joey, but as far as your reasoning disclaimer that being fired and not having enough time to put together a good team, I didn't know that a race car driver was guaranteed anything, KKR let him stay in the car till the end of the season and he is assembling a new team as we type, in the offseason. How many race car drivers in any form are let go mid-week in the middle of the season. The only thing I could see him being able to collect is if he is still under contract he would probably be able to collect his guaranteed pay from the contract. No different than other sports like football, if a player is let go they are paid out the rest of their contract and asked not show up anymore, unless the player broke the regulations of the contract. Outside of that he'd bettered hope he gets a judge that dislikes Hendrick Motorsports.
