UH OH, This is not good , I feel this thread is taking a turn for the message board wasteland and it is not looking good. Screw Sprints , Late Models , Modifieds , Street Stocks , Factory Stocks , Hot Stocks, Mini Stocks and all the other stocks, We all need to get a HORNET and put BIG BLOCKS in em with NOS Bottles for that EXTRA BOOST when needed down the straightaways and all must have a windshield and working windshield wipers. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!, YES BRILLIANT!!!!!!! LOL

Hey if you guys are ready to step up to ASCS I have a few used ones for sale.

You Super sprints aren't that far away from an ASCS anyways. All you need is a set of ASCS heads and a set of ASCS pistons and presto you have an ASCS engine! Now you can pretty much race anywhere you want to rather than being stuck in your current situation.

Good luck in 2007!

I'm not trying to start a fight with you mod, it's just not cool get on an innocent post and pretty much put down everything that was asked in a derogatory statement.

For example if you started a thread about late models at Lawton I wouldn't get on there and say, "Screw them thar late models, those thangs is very boring."

Wesmar: As you know money is the problem 99% of the time, so if you would like to help me out with one of those use motors I would put your name on the car. Preferably a honda rod haha.

If the engines were mine I'd consider it, but all of our customers own them themselves

I only missed the A by 2 spots at the big Sooner Regional race at OKC with like 50 cars there.

And that's with 100 less horsepower! I think I could handle a little more power :)

Thats the only problem with sprints,,, Horse power..   If you dont have it, your just out there fallowing the guy infront of you with more Horse power.  I love driving those things, there is nothing like it, but if your just a hint low on ponys your just a second place car at best.  I wouldnt care if i were the slowest car out there, they are a blast.  Easy to drive and lots of g-force.

Hey David, those gocart drivers sure are sensitive arent they.;) All kidding aside,I dont see super sprints coming to Lawton. Some nights there are barely enough sprints there to make up the regular show. Lawton doesnt have very many sprint cars that are locally owned and if another class started it would take away from the one that is there.I think that its just a sign of the times with fuel prices effecting the cost of literally everything you can think of. Its tough for most people to race locally let alone travel 100 miles or more to race. With 5 classes racing there already I just dont see it happening. By the way this board has been pretty boring lately, thanks for replying. Bob

I'll step out on a ledge here. Brandon you should get an ASCS car sometime. I won't be satisfied until I see at least 3 drivers with the last name Jennings in each Sooner Region show. lol. You could even run under the CCC Motorsports Banner along with Porter and Whitworth. My million dollar lottery ticket IS out there just waiting for me to buy it. Either I go that route or I build a 1/5 mile HORNET track down in Tuttle. Lenhart and Porter will battle it out for the title while I see how many times I can spin Mr. Whitworth out. Randy Ward can make periodic visits whenever possible and be the first announcer to announce WHILE he is racing a hornet. Much history could be made the inaugural night of the Hornet's Nest Super Nationals. O yeah.......and afterwards all drivers and fans go to Hooters. In fact Hooters could be the primary sponsor of Whitworth Motor Speedway.

That would be like heaven on earth.lol.

Sounds good to me. If you build a track though you have to bring back trophy girls...and hott ones. (and I know there will be smart comments about how I won't be seeing them often blah blah blah)
