Bill is very good with the wing off. I've seen him in action a few times. Makes me not understand why he spends so much time with a wing. I'd love to see him stay in Indiana with the wing off. I think he could do pretty well running a full USAC sprintcar tour. Especially now since its exclusively on dirt.

I've had the pleasure to watch bill quite a bit at the PAS with the USAC/CRA 410s and has always done pretty well. Ill always pull for him when he shows.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

If USAC paid around $500 a night tow money imagine he would be running non winged. Bill is a great ambassador of sprint car racing. Love the underdogs.

I have a ton of respect for guys like Bill Rose who have taken a chance on themselves and are chasing their dream. He has taken a very limited amount of resources and gets the most out of them. Last year I read an article that the hauler he drives has almost a million miles on it and he raced mostly on used tires. He loves racing so much that he drove a lot of last year with a broken shoulder until he finally got Ian Madsen to drive the last few races. If you ever get the opportunity to talk to Bill, please do so because he is one of the nicest guys in the pits.

I have seen a lot of races at a lot of tracks. Seeing Billy Rose whip the Posse at Bedford, was right up there with seeing Steve Kinser whip the 4 Crown years ago in Johnny Vance's car. It was weird, no beer sales, but the french frys were good. I enjoyed his win, but still want to go to Williams Grove, hope they serve beer there.

there are times when i feel pretty ignorant and dumb.

then i read posts like yours, and it makes me feel good about myself.

thanks

credit the woo for recognizing each of their drivers and giving a run down of their season and giving them a little national PR. they do it every year at the end of the season.

You did a great job summarizing my thoughts on this post. ;)
