Hey, NWF...not able to attend...but sure wish I could...especially to see if the Slammer throws any more rocks at Allard!

I think it's limited to 25sq/ft. or 410c.i. - whichever works.

It is allowed to be at least the size of a right rear. Drivers throw that at each other all the time :)

Amy Swindell is on twitter saying it was a bad mistake by the other driver. She never admits when its Sammys fault . But shes not affraid to through someone else under the bus.

I've been a fan of Sammy"s for years. But...I was taught that you own the track in front of you. S@#t happens. Sammy most likely got fined. Lucky he didn't get his ass handed to him. In the old days they would have went toe to toe. Sammy is lucky he didn't get arrested for battery because that is exactly what it was. He is lucky JA is a good guy.

Allard was all over the place a couple of times to avoid going backwards. Sammy and a lapped car were the victims.

1. Kerry Madsen is no where in site.
2. Sammy pulls underneath Allard coming out of 2 with a 1/2 car length advantage. How could Allard claim he did not know Sammy's position on the track?
3. Allard drops to the bottom in 3 and Sammy moves to the top. Where did Allard think Sammy went?
4. Sammy pulls almost even with Allard at the apex of 3 & 4 with Allard on the bottom. Allard must have "heard him" at the very least and must have seen Sammy there. If not, I am sure professional drivers would not want to race with the ZERO car...
5. Allard & Sammy are very close to running side-by-side down the straight.
6. Sammy swerved once to get away from Allard and swerved a second time to evade the boot (to no avail).
7. We will be ready. Go Sammy!

I'm sure we have all seen our fair share of rock throwing in our lives...I saw alot when I was 7 or 8 years old. Some people mature differently. Cut Sammy a break.

How could Sammy claim he didn't know Tim Green wasn't there when he flat ran into him on the beginning of the second lap of the feature at the WoO show on Friday night at Santa Maria in 1992? Watch that video and get back to me. This is before all the Hans devices and full containment seats. Since Tim started out AHEAD of him when they exited two he KNEW he was there. This is just one example - one that I am very familiar with because I was there. The ensuing wreck took out 6 cars at least and was completely unnecessary. Add to that his completely arrogant and disconnected and true to form behavior after the fact you have the main reason I despise him. He can drive but I don't understand how anyone can like the guy as soon as he straps into a car especially if you happen to be strapped into another car on the same racetrack. I get that he's a nice guy when you get to know him - no need to make that point. It doesn't change the fact that the perception that he is an "all about Sammy" asshole is actually a very valid perception with PLENTY of documentation to support it. You want to be a Sammy Swindell fan that's fine but you do so with the full knowledge that the man you are a fan of is an asshole. Period. End of story.

I dont know the actual dates or locations but this has happened hundreds of times. Would say I hear about it more often in non wing. Unless they change the rules to sit you down for a month it will continue to happen. Lets go racing.

i watched the video, and i am a sammy fan, could go either way.
my question is, did anybody see sammy throw the rock?
no witnesses other the allard, who saw this from being strapped into a sprintcar with limited side vision.
so was sammy in front of him, they usually have everyone off the track when the cars get rolling.
nobody at the track that night.
somebody had to be watching sammy after the wreck.
if he did so, not very professional.
question over, continue with the bashing.

This could be very important if Mr. Swindell is considering adding something of this nature to his parts line. "Sammy Rocks" tee shirts could be big for awhile too. Yeah, I know they advertise here...but so do others.
