The way I understand it, when he came in for a new rear tire, his shock was broke off so he ran the rest of the way without it.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

No Disrespect to the hockett family or friends as that would be just wrong but, read the text MOST VERSATILE DRIVER: Hockett did not win on pavement that I AM AWARE OF.. that being said and, or in a stock car on a higher level than regional.. same with Bacon.. but, nice try both good drivers. but, Larson has a huge leg up in this area. THINK OUTSIDE OF THE DIRT TRACK.

I dont see anyone "melting down" ITT, i see people calling out the OP for trying to troll, which is what trolls deserve. Hambone is a definite troll. Nice try though singlefile.

Eh, call it whatever you want. The fact remains that any time someone says something that is even remotely critical of Larson, the same 10-12 posters rush into the thread and become agitated. This has happened over and over agin in recent months. If you guys don't see that you are getting played for the entertainment value of that, then I don't know what to tell you.
Just like with the Posse threads on here, the over the top chest thumping about Larson on here is bound to alienate people and make the posters on here doing such chest thumping the target of trolls. And it seems to work at drawing Larson fans in every single time. This board has made Will Champagne a household name of here because of how much he gets inside the heads of the Larson fans on here..

God don't compare him to that NASCAR punk. Kyle interacts with people and as of Sat night doesn't act like he is above and beyond his fans.

If your a fan of dirt racing and you don't at least respect smoke your ignorant as hell. What he has accomplished on dirt and asphalt is legendary. What he has given back to the sport is also legendary. Don't hate him cuz hes the best and his teams are the best just because he wouldnt hang out with you or sign your shirt. If young money accomplishes half of what smoke has you will be calling him a punk too. The ROCKETT HOCKETT was a bad mofo still can't believe hes gone.

Kyle had a great week....he won his qualifying night feature and made the A in his first attempt.... so that should make all of his fans proud and happy....
He wrecked in the World Challenge, and didn't have a great result Sat night in the A....that should make all the haters happy...
So it seems we could go a week or so without all the unneeded praise or slander...hahahahaha...bet somebody proves me wrong.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Cali guys getting baited ITT. Just like the Posse threads on here, the reason Larson threads lke this one continually show up on here is because it is so easy to drive Kyle Larson fans into a complete meltdown.
|
ok, here's the question then. name one possee driver that has accomplished and or won more races than kyle in the last two years?
pretty simple, can't be done! fifty or more wins in how many classes? winged sprints, usac silver crown, usac midgets, the gold cup, eldora, fendered and the list goes on and on.
you claim holds very little validity if in fact "it is a claim"! nothing can change the facts, plain and simple..
ps. not a melt down at all i just love racin'.
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Driver likes and dislikes will never change. Each "homie group" has their favorite and no "foreigner" can be better than their "chosen one." Regardless, this kid has an abundance of talent and barring any unforseen incident(s) has a future I would LOVE to have. Dirt or asphalt...he seems to be able to adapt very quickly. If he does make it I'm sure he will have a lot of "Johnny come latelies" who say "I knew he would be successful."
I wish him the best in whatever form of racing he opts for but I sorta think he is headed, ultimately, to FRANCECAR. How sad.

Kyle Larson is fun and talented to watch, so when someone says something negative I can understand the reaction. I also appreciate the drivers who take time to talk to the drivers in the pits after the races and before the races.
Jesse the rocket, and Brady, both have great records but fall short in comparison to the types of cars, and tracks Kyle have visited and won in this year and in 2011.
Seems like a well grounded driver who's already tasted success. Good luck to him in the future whatever it is.

For many on here the measure of a "real driver" is how he fares at Posse tracks. It has been like this for years and probably will never change.

In my lifetime I have seen just about all of the newbies come and go,but I'll tell you one thing,be it Posse,KWS,Indiana,Ohio, wherever,he is the best new absolute natural talent I have seen in ages and that covers one heck of a lot of talent. You might not see it every night everyone has a bad night or two but he is to be admired for his natural talent and personality,in this day and age with all these punk asses we have in the world today,he is so far above them its nice to see and hear and his pit crew Gurney Jr. and those guys are first class too just like Kyle,a tremendous award for the parents to have raised such a fine young man.

I guess you were asleep when they raced Osky. I think he did fairly well there.

Actually, I have and contrary to your opinion I found the track and racing to be highly enjoyable and the only thing I saw that "sucked" was a straw in a soda!

Careful there junior...in my over 55+ years of going to tracks there are not too many I have not visited. You need to look "beyond the drunks" as you refer to them and watch what is happening on the track. It might surprise you!
