Sorry ford97. I just hit reply Please take no offense :)
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Regardless of the complaints, the racing was decent, there were enough quality cars. My hats off to Terry for running the show swiftly in absolute perfect weather for a change. I know a lot of people have complained about dragging things out but this year was perfect! If you dont like it, dont come. Pretty simple.

If there would have been 50 cars then they'd be bitching about it taking too long. I got my moneys worth and will be back.

Just wondering about the low car counts.
Perhaps Dollansky should get out of the "carnival" hes trying to run and show a bit more respect for the racer and paying spectator. After last years wingless show b.s., I will stay away from anything the man runs, sanctions or promotes

If people don't like the program, they don't have to go.
The stands were full, the pits weren't.
Who do you think doesn't like the program?

I just can't for the life of me understand the All Star sanction on the FRC. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Of the "All Star" cars there last night, I'm assuming most would have ran with or without sanction. How many can we designate as ASCoC cars anyways? I count 8 or 9 cars that I know are either ASCoC regulars or are from Ohio, but I'd bet 4 or 5 would run even without the sanction on it.
I think something needs to be changed, as the FRC is slowly fading. It's one of my favorite events and I hate to say it, but it needs a spark.

Do you have to be an All Star member to run the event?

Not blaming anyone, but I was disappointed not to see Outlaws & Posse guys myself. Well run show tho, went outside for a break & missed first few "King of the Hill" match races

Of course not, but the benefit of a sanction is to ensure cars show up. In this case, I would think it would drive cars away. Plus, I'm sure there's some sort of sanctioning fee.
Dump the sanction, run it with an open tire rule, spice up the format and see if you can get the show back to what it was.
I wasn't there last night but have been in the past couple of years - with the drop in cars, the track doesn't widen out enough for anyone to want to take the challenge. Granted, a few years rain played a part in that, but 26 cars for the FRC is pretty saddening.

U obviously know very little of terry McCarl's tireless commitment to sprint car racing and the extreme lengths he goes to in order to even have racing on Monday and Tuesday of nationals week. My biggest regret is that Allan holland has given you a world wide forum to write your clearly uninformed opinions on this issue. Perhaps you should write a post entitled "why world of outlaw regulars choose not to participate in fan friendly format races".

I think the FRC has always been 5k to win or 50 k to win if you took the challenge. When was the last time anyone took the challenge though???
5k is a cut in pay for the WoO regulars who are used to racing for more than that on a nightly basis. There would probably be more interest in 5k to win at Knoxville rather than Osky, just for the extra track time.

Saldana took it last year. Made it all the way up to fifth or something with like 10 laps to go. On a restart a guy didn't get on the gas and joey slammed into the guy infront of him tearing stuff up in the front end.

what the heck are you talking about? You are lucky you did not go to Bellville midget race. I can understand why a team is signed up to race Knox. on wed., they do not want to have something happen to hurt them at Knox..They own the car, so they can do what they want.
