I griped about six car mains and three car heats on my forum and was told I complain about things I know nothing about and that I should call the promotor personally. Like he doesn't know its a problem.

Went to the Bradway and after all the effort the KWS series put in to promote the race the stands

looked about 1/3 full. Track was pretty good that night with top and bottom racing in 3 & 4.

The Civil War fair race had a packed grandstand with all the fair goers getting in free, 40+ cars,

and the track was terrible follow the leader around the bottom racing. A great opportunity to

show case the sport to new fans and they blew it. Last years Gold Cup had no passing in the top 5

either night. Can they move the Gold Cup to Ocean?

If you saw the Bradway, you saw a great race! The track held up well and I think it proved that it is primarily a matter of proper prep and is not a functional problem with the clay or configuration. TK and Shane Stewart were able to come back into the top 5 (TK 3rd, Stewart 4th) after getting together around halfway and going to the rear. There was lots of passing while Allard controlled the front.

I'm looking forward to a great Gold Cup at Silver Dollar!

It is better that they cancelled it than run a one lane on the bottom sh_t show because the only one around who could make the track good is running placerville only now. I wonder if that track has had two groove racing this year becasue I know Chico hasn't and probably won't come gold cup time. TV excuse is just one they havn't used yet and they couldn't use weather again, although they probably thought about it because there was a cloud in the sky over Chico yesterday.

Went to placerville for the Forni and enjoyed the race . Long drive home to orange co . But if Chico thinks they will see my money for the gold cup they are mistaken . I saw a horrible show except for Greg stealing the 360 show from the 2 youngsters on the 1 st day . But when it rubbers up during hot laps for the woo and they spend a hour taking atleast 6 inches of dirt off the top and it does the same thing and I get to watch burn outs instead of sprint cars no thank you . A little extra money in my pocket this year. But I'll bet Scott at Hanford has that track ready for the ASCS show on the 28th. And Chris will have Santa Maria in shape for the 29th. Should be a great car count at both events .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.
