Altho' I love the 360's I have never been to their Nationals because on Sat. night the 360's have been treated like the proverbial red headed step child - the A feature run last when the track is completely gone. This year it looks like they might have a chance to have a decent track to race on. I've been toying about making the 1600 mile round trip this year - but I've heard rumors that you can't camp at the track anymore and that there isn't much parking at the track. Is this so? What? No more gambling and drunken parties all night at the track - and no racers driving their 4 wheelers or mini bikes around the grounds at 3 in the morning with a beer can in one hand? And with the drought - I wonder if you can cook out at the track - assuming that there is still camping there.
Oh yes - when I check the results from Knoxville - it always seems to be a lot more passing in the 360 ranks than in the 410's. To me it sounds like the 360's might be putting on the better show. JMHO - altho' maybe "humble" shouldn't be there...

really? last time I checked they unload the haulers for 360 Nat's too, don't recall any parking on the grounds for last years 360 Nat's (heck, there isn't hardly any @ HyVee that Saturday).
I'd say the crowd for Saturday of 360 Nat's will be about what it has been the last few years, right around 10-12,000 with the prelim nights being around 3-5000.
Now, I can see Sunday having a crowd of 10-12000 which is a HUGE improvement over what USAC was pulling in the last couple of years (maybe 5000).

I've been going to the Saturday night of the360 Nationals for a handful of years now and don't recall ever seeing the track "completely gone." It has always had multiple lines to choose from. My question about the Sunday night show is this, is Husets still running on this night?

I think this is a great idea. Could even sneak the 305's into the Sunday night show - that way two classes compete in both saturday and sunday's show. Either way I love the idea - it's a way to keep the sensational quality of the Saturday night show and also have an exceptional sunday night show. I even like the format you have in mind. Great idea, hope the right people see/hear it some time.

This sounds like a great idea to try if the attendance really drops on the 360 final night. Personally, I think the 360-305 show will be just fine. The 305's can put on a pretty good show of their own.
