We have only three 410 tier one sanctions, i.e.World of Outlaws, GSCS and All Stars.
We have five tier one 410 weekly veues, i.e. Chico, Knoxville, Williams Grove, Lincoln, Port Royal and PCR (Australia).
Traditional Sprint Car racing:
If your publication is interested in California Sprint Car racing why do you ignore USAC/CRA, without question one of the top sanctions in the U.S. Perris may be the top sprint car track in the country. I would put the socal drivers up against anyone. I have visited your website and find it very informative - your just missing out on Southern California sprinters - including Ventura. USAC/CRA is not considered 410 tier one sanction?? Is it a wing thing.?

Port Royal a tier one venue??? Not in my book. It ranks
as the lowest of all tracks in Pa. that I have been to. Its fast, but
thats all I can say good about the place, except it isnt to far from
Selinsgrove, and if the timing is right an easy double can be achieved.
Non wing sprinters arent in most Australians vocabulary, but you can
swing a dead cat and hit 50 or more sprinters here on Indy's west
side, and thats just with one dead cat! Doubtful you can do that
anywhere else in the world.
You really need to take a few months and come to the USA for a look at the sprintcar scene, and see whats really going on here.

To Robert (Davidson): In Canada, New Zealand, Australia and most of the USA (CRA and SCRA in Cali, ASCS Canyon in Arizona and all of Indiana and surrounds excepted) winged sprint car racing is the norm. Therefore from a global perspective our first priority is winged racing. I take your point though and recognize that we need to address our coverage of USAC and CRA.
To Car Wash Mike: I am not bankrolled by News Corp. No-one in the industry is. If I was I would be happy to send our own house reporters across the globe.
To Bill: SCD is not an Australian publication. It is an international publication, The vast majority of our registered readers are USA residents. The fact that I happen to reside in Australia is irrelevant. Earlier this month I published SCD out of Southern Africa and may well do so on a permament basis in future.
To ASQ:
1) You are anti-Central PA (known fact). Half the PA posse races at Port Royal every Saturday night and internationally people want to know every bit of news about the PA Posse. That is the value of their international fame. Are they better than the cream of the GSCS? Right now nearly everyone outside California would say yes, but there is no real basis for this. It is just that the Posse has this aura.. The GSCS has the potential to be elevated to this same level of international fame. The talent, car count and a strong administration is all there. And of course the location itself is a great plus. The GSCS and Friday points races are perfect from our point of view for international marketing. Through regular front-page articles we are aim to build awareness and reputation of the GSCS to an international audience. And off-course Civil War, Chico, as well as racimg north of the border.
2) You are anti-winged racing (which is palpably obvious) and choose to watch a non-descript non-winged race at Gas City over the Outlaws up the road. That is fine, but the point is that you are biased.
To All: You have now all re-affirmed your support (regardless) for your local people and each other. The parties concerned have all expressed their desire to let this matter rest. How about us doing so?

Typical Andre. Comes in,stirs things up,then wants
closeure as soon as possible after he has made himself look silly. He
is nice as pie when he wants info, but stir him over the coals a bit,and
he doesnt like it.
If I am anti Central Pa,then tell me,why did I just get
back from a trip to Pennsylvania?? I have my raincheck from
Williams Grove,if you'd like it as a souvenir. Send me $20US and its
yours.I have tons more things from Pennsylvania as well you might be
interested in too. I have more Williams Grove shirts than I can shake a
stick at,Pa speedweek shirts,Lincoln,Susky,Selinsgrove,and probably
even a Port Royal shirt or 2 as well. I dont dislike Pa.its just I have
so much racing around me here in Indiana,I dont need to make a special
trip just to see sprintcars race. When I lived in Maine, Pa. was the
closest place where I could go watch a few nights of sprintcars.
If I am anti winged, then how come I started my
sprint car season off by going to winged, and in particular,WoO races??
If I dont like winged racing,I had better sell off my Knoxville
Nationals, and Front Row Challenge tickets, both which I have had for
years. I had better start looking for another race to go to on the
Sunday and Monday nights after Knoxville, because they run winged
sprintcars at Husets, and last time I checked the All Stars ran them
too,and I was planning on going to Thunder Hill Speedway in
Mayetta,Kansas to watch them. Hopefully it wont rain out like it did
the last time I was there in 2002.
By the same token, there must be nights when I anti non winged
sprintcars, because from time to time I give up a night of watching them
to drive to Belleville,Illinois to watch midgets. I've even driven by
Terre Haute Action Track on a doubleheader USAC weekend to drive
another 150 miles beyond for PowrI midgets. How do you explain that
theory?? Its easy really, the racing at "Little" Belleville is great, and
if its great, then I wanna see it.
Thats usually my thinking when I give up the chance to
go to Eldora for a WoO race, for a "nondescript" race at Gas City. Thats
pretty easy to explain, and doesnt need to be explained if you really
know me,cause its common knowledge to people that do know me. I dont
care for winged racing at Eldora. I have never seen a really great race
there. Its fast yes,but I want to see racing, not just cars going around
the track fast. I have seen many great races at nondescript Gas City,so
its pretty easy to see where I will go.Why would I want to spend the
extra money if I feel I will be disappointed?
I'll be at Gas City for Indiana Sprintweek the same night the Kings
Royal is on. I'm sure you think I am nuts for doing so,but any race of
Indiana Sprintweek should be right up there on you races you just "Have
to cover" You just dont know what Indiana Sprintweek is all
about. My first Sprintweek in 1996 made me realize that Indy is the
place to be,if you like sprint car racing, and its gotten even better
since then.It just took me 10 years from then to get here.Your eyes
would be spinning in your head and coming up 2 lemons,if you had been
here and gone on the little tour I gave Peter Physick when he was here.
And that tour barely scratched the surface of whats here.
The bottom line is this. During the summer in Indiana, you'll most likely find me at one of the local non winged tracks. If not there, then I'll be watching midgets. If the weather across the state looks iffy, and all the closeby tracks have rained out,but its sunny here in Indy, then I might be at the Speedrome like last Saturday night watching figure 8 racing. (surprise surprise) Before, and after our season has ended here, then you'll probably see me travel to other tracks for some winged racing. The 360 nats at Little Rock have been on the hitlist for awhile now. Then again,so has Chico,Perris, and Manzanita.
