If you're the world's source for sprint car knowledge are'nt you in it? You must have some major accomplishments in the racing world to be as opinionated as you are. I'm not on here to bad mouth anyone......so I won't, but if you think 18 410 wins can compete with Danny's record you need to open your eyes. I won't say that in the years to come a comparison shouldn't be made but right now.......really? Oh well, good luck to both drivers

The intent of this post was to say "my eyes are wide open". Danny has an amazing record that I won't begin to list on this forum. He's an amazing driver and I am thrilled that he has the opportunity to drive for the 1Z Zemco team. Maybe I am misunderstanding your response to my post. You don't need to tell me to open my eyes, they have been open to Danny's talent for many, many years!!!

Listen up Blaiseeeee (is that a man name??) Danny won't win a feature OR finish in the top five points in the "lowly" PA speedweeks in the best damn ride available in Pennsylvania. This has got to be the worst choice Zemco EVER MADE!
I can think of TEN better choices than Danny the Dude. YES he can drive a sprint car and has had tons of success in the past....but we are talking Sammy Swindell personality and you either like the guy or hate him. I don't think this choice will fit well with the locals.
Nonetheless... if they keep him in the seat till the Nationals roll around, I wish them well.... but my money is on he won't make it through speedweeks until PeeWee ships his a$$ back home!

Please everyone don't think that CentralPaPosse represents all from Posse land. The majority of us do have knowledge of sprint car racing both on PA soil and outside of it.
But I did have a laugh over "until he gets some laps under his belt"....wow, really.

Thats funny, I don't remember the Roth 83 in 2006 (4th place finish) ever being Mopar powered or the Arctic Cat 33 in 2008 (4th place finish) either. Granted that 4th place finish in the A in 2006 was from the back of the B so you might not concider that "in the hunt" but he was "in the hunt" for the 2008 title.

In the hunt or not both of those years he was the fastest car on the track at the end of the A.
Both of those years would've been podium finishes with one more lap, 5 more laps and both of them might have been wins.

The Dude is a lot more personable than Slammy. He had no problem stopping what he was doing and posing for some pics with fans last time WOO was at the grove, seemed more than happy to do so.

its funny reading the negative comments! the 98 car he drove outlaw weekend, he did real well in! and the zemco car is top notch! there is no reason why they cant be competitive! good luck to both!

Ok OK! Let me clarify my statement. When Pittman came and ran Selinsgrove years ago in the Titan 21 car...he looked bad....and I mean BAD. In fact I think he was pulling in as he was about to be lapped and barely made the show. Since then, as he has been here for a while he has been a top notch weekly racer and has done quite well. I was comparing that episode to Lasoski. Do you guys really think he is gonna come in here and clean house? Really??? I'll eat my crow if he does, but I'm predicting an average showing at best. I don't give a damn of his past as colorful as it WAS. Time will tell.
I still think Zemco would be better off with a local.... my opinion only... not my dime.

You are a complete idiot with no knowledge of sprint car racing if you honestly think Danny will get his "A$$" handed to him in PA. He was more than competative at the Grove a little over a month ago in the 98 (against the WoO) and the Zemco car is ten times the car the 98 is.

I hope you have that fork ready because crow doesn't taste very good. haha. I am not saying he will "clean house" but to think he will need "more seat time" before he is competative is unrealistic. Good thing it isn't your dime or you would be broke!! ;-) And I think Pittman might be qualified enough to carry Danny's helmet bag.
