thanks for the video. clearly looks like the car was out of shape coming off the turn and poor Joey was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Glad there was video. Go #7. Haters are gonna hate!
Watch the video. You can clearly see the wheels are cranked back towards the wall NOT towards Joey.

Thanks for the video
Hard nosed racing on a tight track with open wheel cars, I can't believe something like this could happen. I think maybe speed limits should be put into place as well as those black bumpers put around all the cars like go-carts have. Oh yeah and Dollansky should be banned from racing for life.
If the highlight was posted in an attempt that it was the final danming evidence that he did it on purpose I would say, Fail!

I really feel bad for Joey,it seems that the antlers are getting a little wide on that big game boy car.Honestly if you watch all the videos over and over you can see it appears to be just both cars at the same place at that time, just a racing accident, thats how I see it....

Bingo! Dead on, Chilly!
Even more ironic was Craig was fired from the KKR team a few years ago after getting ready to leave at the end of the year. The stuff on Twitter has been fun to read the last few days, that is for sure!

Clearly looks like he's full of sh@t when he said he didn't see Saldana. Watching the video looks like he saw him there gassed her on up and ran into the #9. Those front wheels have nothing to do with your argument. And where's the lapped car he said he was dealing with?

Ugh. I'm a fan of The Crowd Pleaser, but I gotta say, that was ugly. Yeah, he had the thing cranked hard right, but he was obviously on the hammer and out of shape. Looks to me like he should have lifted. But, I wasn't in the seat, and I didn't see what he saw, so it's all just speculation.

Anyone that thinks the crowd pleaser did that on purpose has never driven a sprint car or doesnt understand sprint car racing. Was it Joey's fault ? No. Did Craig try to hit Joey ? No. Craig hooked up hard near the wall and the car launched towards the infield. End of story.

You forgot to say he had no brakes also. Might as well throw that excuse in there with the rest yours.

From my perspective I think Craig saw Joey coming and tried to move down to the low line and block him and lost it. I don't think there was any intent to wreck anybody but he was less than smooth in taking Joey's line away. His issue will be he still has to race with the same drivers for another 60 races, and normally what goes around comes around.

It's pretty simple...Either he did it on purpose or he ran out of talent for a split second. Only he knows the true answer to that.
I can understand why Joey would be upset but I also remember the night when in a hot lap session at Knoxville Joey did about the same thing to Randy Smith's son going into 3 and destroying that car. At least KKR has more cars....Smith didn't.

I think it was Joe Cocker that said in one of his old songs, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but talk doon bothaa me". Talk about pizz and moaning. Keep it going Big Game guys!
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Speed Report showed it clear as day, that Dollansky just got loose off the corner & Joey was in the wrong place at the wrong time! Just a racing incident, happens all the time! Oh,and just my 2 cents worth. How many times have you seen Joeys car get SUPER wide when someone is all over him?? Pot calling the Kettle black if you ask me!!

my view that video proves nothing....We see him come from top to bottom. I want to see the set up, full corner and then the slam. Though from it....he must have had one hell of a tire on to bite that bad to come down the track that fast, coming off a corner.

That one happened about halfway down the backstretch, right where Knoxville Raceway is painted on the wall. Saw it happen and I think Saldana was lucky the local lawman didn't let Smith get to him.

This is a good way of diagnosing it, we won't know Craig's intent unless on Winged Nation today he decides to come out and say, yep I did it on purpose cause I'm still bitter over the way things went with KKR 3 years ago.
I am by no means any more a Big Game fan than I am a Saldana fan, I've bought more of Saldana's shirts. I just don't buy that Craig did this blatantly on purpose, I just don't see it. Maybe this will be the new generation Sammy and Steve feud, are either of these 2 former wrestlers?

AGREED!!!! What a bone head move .. Something about the Kahne cars that must anger that guy.. Just like when he ball parked kasey! Hopefully Joey is alright.. Heard tore up a lot of shit. Dollansky was just mad that Joey had a great restart and probably would have Won if wasn't for that!
|
Ya what a bonehead move on Joey--- Video clearly shows Dollansky had wheels cranked to the right. Joey should have checked up as he obviously could see Dollansky . Go whine somewhere else . Tight racing
