Certainly not what I was hoping for. I'm surprised my buddies here aren't ragging on me more. Big heavy track and chilly temps makes it easy to burn one down though. Most of the teams last night with much more $$$$$ had many spare engines in case their "cheap" chevy broke. RoushYates Ford guys are used to only needing one.

in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint

A very special night. The first properly funded all new World of Outlaws Ford in 17 years rolls off tonight. A breath of fresh air in our stagnant ocean of cloned race cars. The smothering outlaw rule book outlaws the best Ford stuff but if they get the car right it will be fun. I hope you can find the time to mention the engine Johnny instead of just the car's number. The sport we love needs a whole lot more enginuity like Mr Stenhouse is bringing.
