I wasn't always a fan of "Hot Foot", but did respect him and admired all his accomplishments. If you have children, you can understand his decision. Wishing him the best. Here are a few questions, does that mean engine builder Charlie Garrett is now a free agent and can he start building motors again for other teams? How about Jason's chassis design, can KPC start offering that same chassis to other customers?

Sad news to hear that Jason Meyers will be leaving sprint car racing. I very much respect his decision to focus on his family but am going to more than miss watching him race. I've learned so much about the entire sport, not just driving, by watching him. I always looked up to him and more in recent years because he finally put it all together. Jason Meyers set out to chase a dream and accomplished it. Not a whole lot of people can say they've ever achieved their dream. Long live Hotfoot! We're going to miss you.
made alive.

Just recalled that Jason's mom got an 8x10 of one of my victory lane pics taken a couple years ago at Cedar Lake. It's an honor to know that they'll look at that photo as part of their racing memories. I suppose to most photographers this wouldn't be a big deal but I shoot primarily for the papers, magazines, series and tracks that I contribute to and don't promote the sales end. When somebody involved with a team that is at the top level of the sport asks me if they can get a print that's something special that has only happened a couple of times. :)

Thanks Jason for being a true hero. He did things a little wee bit different. He dominated. Posse is certainly the toughest bunch of racers in the country now.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Good luck Jason. Good decision for your family, but sprint fans will miss ya...
However, if you move to Pennsylvania, you can stay home & race....just sayin....

I look forward to continue my involvement when time allows.

So what your saying then is he won't even be racing those 13 or 14 races at the start of the season.
I guess that would be hard to do without a ride.

I believe there is a lot more to the story of which Chris Luck's parting was a great deal of it... Also, I really feel sorry for Kyle Luters.... He did a great job doing the PR for the WOO all year and he leaves to go to work for Elite... Don't know how much PR they will need now....
Ready for Florida racing to start.. Wonder how many signed WOO drivers will there be? I want to see the WOO succeed... it's a legacy.... It desperately needs new owners that are not so "blinded" and such poor businessmen..
