Who in thier right mind wouldn't claim to be said posse if they win ?? Booed & ridiculed if they didn't. I believe my Ancestors settled over there somewhere but I'm a born & bred Buckeye with a passion for Sprintcars anywhere I can see'em. One day I want to get back over there & see Foust Town & a race at Lincoln.

Sorry but Lasoski won't win squat in PA in that 98 car. I don't care if he plugs-in all of his engines in the same night.

Your crazy if you dont think he will win a race and be competitive

You're right. I've seen some of the worst cars in PA start pole and lead a non-stop race to win. So I guess it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he could win. It's not that Lasoski isn't any good, but that 98 car hasn't ever been super competetive in Central PA.

We wouldn't be talking about the night WG's track was in absolutely dreadful condition and Ryan Bohlke led start-finish in that #2 car, would we?

I was at the track that night when Bohlke won. Usually on a regular show Friday night, if you start in the top 8, you've got a good shot to contend.
Anyone got stats to show what the percentage of wins from say 12th on back are?? Since WG does pay a "bonus" for a win if you start from further in the A-main field....

I didn't have that one in mind particularly. Mark Smith actually lead a few laps before breaking in that one, giving the lead back.

Off topic kinda, but it's not like that 2 car was a slouch last year especially towards the end of the season. If I remember correctly, he pulled into Lincoln 3 times at the end of the year and ran top 10 all 3. Ryan has always been underrated, IMO. Couple years back he set quick time with the WoO and was running top 5 in the feature before mechanical woes.

Bohlke is an underrated talent in Central PA, but sometimes that is a good thing.
Can't wait for Lasoski to win one in Central PA in 2012....and when that happens, this thread will shut down and the HATERS will open a new one to bash him. LOL

The 18 seemed like a good car, it just didn't run very often the last 2 years it was out.
The 2 seemed to fall back a lot, though.
Anyway, sorry for dragging this thread off the rails.

It will be quite the challenge for him to run in PA and also for points at Knoxville.

Husets in South Dakota.

That is one beautiful #5!
That blue oval on the wing with the Gaerte bow tie under the hood, priceless.
If memory serves Wolfgang won all of the WoO races at Husets that year.
All 4 of those cars were sharp looking cars. I'm not sure there are 4 cars in the country anymore that look as good as those 4 did.
