The "WoO is in a downturn" so says somebody above. I think that is a yearly post on this anti-WoO/anti-Schatz forum. It's almost getting rediculous. Hating something because of their success. Yeah, that makes sense.
PS to my signature line: "and 99% of all of your local track racer's street stockers, A- Mods, B-Mods, dirt mods, limited late models, unlimited late models and winged and non-winged sprint cars use Chevy power; PS - youcould count on one hand the number of non-bowtie engines in the 3-class field of 141 Charlotte Final's night entrants" Jee, I wonder what engines in all 3 classes the season champs and the Finals night winners used in Charlotte?

I'm no legal expert but this really sounds like a pretty simple case of Breach of Contract. Sides had signed a deal to run exclusively with the WoO and broke that when he ran an unsanctioned race without permission. Whether its fair or not really isn't the issue.
In today's day in age the WoO really needs to try to step up and get more races schedule or let these guys race freely when it's not in conflict with an Outlaw show. Expenses of gone up many times over in the last 10-15 years with no raise in purse and a decrease in the number of shows raced a year. Either let em race or schedule more races! Simple as that...

If that is the case then way isn't Schatz and Saldana both have a breach of contract against them. Why is sides the only one? Is it because Sides is standing up for himself and not not letting the wrg group run him over. I support Sides 110 PERCENT>

Because of what an events costs, and because there are fewer and fewer tracks around to support an event, the WoO is limited on the pool of tracks they can consider. Don't you think if they could schedule 100+ races they would?
Schatz signed a contract with a waiver to run the Fargo race, since his dad owns the track. Why doesn't Sides have the same deal? Because he's not Schatz and doesn't command the same value.
Should a backup middle infielder who can't hit more than .250 have the same contract that Albert Pujols would get? Of course not. Face it, in baseball, racing or any other business stars get more than role players. The Globetrotters and Washington Generals are owned by the same company, but they don't get paid the same. I think Sides has about the same winning percentage as the Generals, btw.
Sides needs to quit bitching and go find some races to run independently. Tow money is racers' welfare, paid for by tose who purchase a ticket. That needs to stop, now.

Yep,that would be a real smart move! Stop the tow money?
Who would you be left with running the series that could afford to run it with NO tow money, ummm maybe 2 KKR cars & 2 TSR cars, yep, now wouldnt that be an awesome series to go watch.......NOT
You really think that would put bums on seat? I dont think so!
