Great news Duane. Thanks for posting your "Save your butt, get a colon screening TODAY" all the time as well for awareness. My grandfather died of colon cancer. It wasn't a very nice way to go out. No cancer is. Congrats on beating the big C. Keep fighting to stay healthy. God bless.

Doctor to patient: I'm sorry to have to tell you, but you have a very rare cancer for which there are no treatments and I'm afraid that you only have six months to live.

Patient: What do you suggest I do?

Doctor: Move to Iowa.

Patient: And how will that make me live longer?

Doctor: It won't. Six months will just seem longer.

2 other friends got the colon cancer about the same time I did.

BOTH of them are dead now.

I knew I would beat it, never once had any fear at all, I just accepted it as an inconvience and did SOME of the things the Doctors asked me to do.

I never drank at all, never smoked, never gave up good food, never exersised.

I took a self imposed vow of poverty before the first surgery, promising to give to others before taking for myself. This is one reason I drive junk cars and wear sweats, and live in an apartment at the business.

I am the happiest (and brokest) I have ever been, and have more friends now than ever, as well as liking myself better.

A person CAN win the battle with Cancer, I know, I did it.

And thanks for the great laugh, what a classic song.

PS, love your new life philosophy, we could all do with a bit more of that attitude I'd say. ;
