Decent turnout considering Knoxville was running twin features and the WOW was running not far away (Ozarks, maybe?) It was still a really good show. Schulz was walking the dog on the field early in the feature until he broke giving Schneiderman the lead. Mincer started 17th and after a long night of trying to figure out why the car wasn't hitting right (bad spark plug) was challenging Schneiderman for the lead when he blew a tire. It was a very racy track last night and the feature was exciting. I think the fans got what they paid for IMO. ~Mandi

Goldesberry Motorsports press release
After flipping wildly "out of the ballpark" one year earlier at the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders stop at West Liberty Raceway, 17-year old Jordan Goldesberry experienced a far more enjoyable Independence Day weekend at the eastern Iowa half-mile, as the 2007 SIA Rookie of the Year piloted the Redline Oil, NGK Spark Plugs, K&N Filters, Ultrashield, Mothers Wax, Goodridge Fittings, Eagle Chassis # 65 to a runner-up finish in his heat race, and a strong 7th place finish in the feature. The next stops for the bright yellow Goldesberry Motorsports entry will come at the Sprint Invaders races July 11 at the Lee County Fair Race at the 3/8-mile Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA and July 13 at the 1/4-mile Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa. www.jordangoldesberry.com
