Guess Jack Hewitt didn't win many popularity contests! LOL. I was at the race in March at Eldora but not in the picture. My favorite was/is anybody who straps on a sprint car.

Taken before the feature as they lined up on the main straight.
As a first time visitor to the US (from Australia) back then 30 years ago, I was absolutely mesmorized by Eldora as I guess most first time visitors still are to this day.
