I'm going to assume that Freddie getting a big chunk of the Daikin/Amana money that Brandon has had coming in over the past few years made this a no brainer for him. That sponsorship alone is more than most teams on the Outlaws, let alone Pennsylvania.
With Brandon racing less, Freddie got a lot of that money already to make things worth it. I'd assume they may have said, we want to see the car more often to justify the money being spent in vendor dollars. ALso, I know in the past that Rich never took any of the sponsor money Freddie could bring to the team. So anything Freddie broiught to the car, that was his.
The added sponsor money and control over his team was prolly too much to pass up frankly.

A lot can change by Spring. If this stays this way it be another strong team a Port Royal. Deitz in the 23 will be good also.
