We go a few times a year and the facility is great and so is the racing there.

The Outlaws were beaten 20 times in 2023 by non-series regulars. Now granted a lot of those were by current High Limit drivers, so it remains to be seen how strong the non-tour contingent is in 2024 but I'd assume with the watered down fields there will be quite a few wins by non touring drivers in 2024 particularly in California.

It looks like last year's California winners were Sweet, Kofoid and Dey. I presume they won't be there for the WoO swing this year. Who do you see possibly taking a California win away from the WoO?

Not arguing, just asking. Roughly, it looks like Bayston won 1 WoO race last year while the other HL drivers won about 27. Just looking at the odds, I suppose it looks like he should win a few. Since he won't have to contend with the rest of the WoO drivers, could you se his win totals being quite a bit higher than just a couple?

Fonda is odd shaped but can be pretty racy, Outlaw is decent but can get dusty. Both tracks though aren't the norm in NY which is usually dry and very slick.

I've heard that (maybe from you?) Thanks
I've been to Lebanon Valley & Orange County a few times.... nice facilities, boring races
Maybe I'll see 3 new tracks this summer....

Says the guy who equates Cory Eliason to Donny Schatz, your opinion about High Limit is about as valid as your opinion on Port Royal.

To read a lot of people's opinions here, it seems there are many who think that the Hi Limit series is going to be a blow-out. It's like "Sweet and Rico are gonna win 112% of all the HL races and Larson will win the rest".
How about the other drivers? Who do you expect to do well and win some races?
|
I am sure the Cory Day will several...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

I don't think its a good idea for the owners of the series to race the series! There will come a time when the "gray" area will be questioned!
|
when Larson made that call early on he ADMITTED the officials would make all the calls from there on out. twenty years ago the Woo made up the rules as they went, tons of grey!

How 'bout it Strawser? Given the 'deep' field of drivers who will be competing in H-L, what do you think the win columns will look like at the end of the season? Especially beyond the big three of Sweet, Larson and Abreau? Do you think Sweet is a shoe-in for the title like a lot of people are saying? Or do you think Rico and Ricky will be the team to beat?

I know I'm not Mr Truthbomb but I'll throw my two cents in. Given the fact that Brad is a multi time Woozer champ and Rico has never chased a championship I'd say Brad has to be the favorite.
