Glad Lincoln got in tonight as there were some storms around and actually as of now weather after Tuesday doesnt look as bad but it is changing reguarly. HTF does a speedweek weather turn partially into a flipping COVID thread!

Mother Nature gave us a break. Damn fine race at Lincoln , support division was fun also. Efficient show with time to party afterwards.

What year did they get in all ten? Was that 2020? I remember it was brutally hot at a few of the races, especially the Monday race at Lincoln.

I remember 2002 or 2003 Speedweek had a span of 4 days in the 4 digit temparture range.  As brutal of a time as I have ever experienced while working on the cars.

Well I guess we now know who pulls the most weight ( but we already knew that ). Lincoln gets the open date (EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT ONE RACE IN), before Grandview or Hagerstown had a chance to use it just in case. I was always ok with the Speedweek schedule, but not anymore. If one of the big three gets one of their two races in, they need to go to the back of the line to use a potential makeup date.

I'm still a bit suprised that the grove didn't get the nod but I'd rather see another race at lincoln. Lots of hands in the lincoln cookie jar and they want to keep it filled.  The big three will always win out as they are our weekly sprint car tracks.

So according to your idiot logic (again), if Alan Kreitzer renamed the series PA-MD Speedweek or "Mid-Atlantic Speedweek", then you'd be ok with Hagerstown having a race?

You're not ok with Hagerstown having a race because it's 4 miles south of the border?

I see a less sinister business stradegy here. Give the announced raindate to tonights track will help their crowd tonight if fans know they will see it Thursday if it rains. If Lincoln gets in tonight then give it to the Tuesday track for the same reason down the line. If it is not used it could offered to Williams Grove for a Thursday, Friday show.
