And so it begins.  From WoO Late Models:

....However, with fuel prices on the rise and tire availability a concern heading into summer, Series officials have made several schedule adjustments for June and July.

In other schedule updates, the June 4 event at The Dirt Oval at Route 66 in Joliet, IL, the June 17-18 event at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY, and the July 12 event scheduled at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI, have all been cancelled and will not be rescheduled in 2022.

Makes one have to start to be concerned about Ohio and PA Speedweeks. Nothing will suprise me anymore.

"And so it begins"... My rear end, it began before the season ended last year. Get used to it. Its the haves vs. the have nots.

My bad, I didn't hear of any major sanctioning bodies cancelling races due to the tire shortage before the season ended last year.

I got denied tires at the hoosier truck at the outlaw race in Knoxville in June last year. They said are you an outlaw car or a local guy, I said neither and they said good luck. The local hoosier guys were keeping tires for their core group as well.
