I'd vote 4 these:

Wed, June 1st – Michael’s Mercer Raceway
Thu, June 2nd – Thunder Mountain Speedway
Fri, June 3rd – Lernerville Speedway
Sat, June 4th – Sharon Speedway
Sun, June 5th – Tri City Raceway Park

All right guys, let's up the excitement. Start
26 cars every nite. Always put the two
highest cars in points (real time points) on
the 13th row. Advantages; more cars will run
all the races, if anyone up in points has a
bad nite they can join the rear, this might
make a difference on rather someone quits
the tour, fans love car count, more fans will
follow more races, what's the down side?

Could you please keep your word and let the above post be the end of the discussion about Port! Thank you

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I agree Port is the best facility and most nights track is good, sometimes great. Second is Lincoln for the track and competition only, facility and lack of varity of schedule keeps it from being better. BUT its easier to create a top notch facility like Port Royal when you get State grants and fair board money to make improvments. Lincoln, Baps and others have to rely on owners getting financing to make improvements.

I also agree we need to stop bashing each track, be glad we have them to go to, remember you could live in Idaho. We stand to lose a very nostaglic track in Trailway. anyone that has spent a night there understands what i mean.

Another guy who exagerates the State funding. A few projects have happened that way but most is from income produced by the track, They have no more access to state funding than any other active fair. You just have to have someone with the ambition to go after it. Where do you think most of the Fair Board money comes from? The vast majority of it comes from the the racing. One difference is that no one is making their living from it. Being a non profit organization the income from from racing has to go back into the facility rather than in an owners pocket.

What are you a super duper secret agent now. That took alot of investigating to learn something that was in all local newspapers and was the ones that I refered to as ones that came from grants. Two grants 19 years apart hardly covers everything done there. One of them long before the major improvements started.  And as I said they are not elegible for anything that every other active fair can't have.
