I had a similar idea where there's now just 4 pills marked 1/5, 2/6, 3/7, 4/8 with the chance of still a shake up from the time trials order, but not having any of this win your heat after a great qualifying setup and drawing the 8 straight away while Brad qualifies a 4th starting spot, gains 2 spots, and gives himself a choice of 3-4 pills rather than 8. Very low odds drawing later that the top 2 rows are already gone. It's really the new version of sand bagging.

Thats pretty confusing
Which position do you get with 2 numbers on each pill??????

Let me clarify, it's the heat finishers, So say Heat 1 draws the 3/7 pills then the Heat Winner gets the 3rd spot, 7th spot goes to the 2nd place H1 finisher. Didn't think I'd have to explain that since I was replying to the suggestion of P1 in the heats draw 1 through 4, and P2 draw 5 through 8. Then the smaller shows (3 heats, 6 car dashes) draw all 6 spots individually.

Kudos to the Grove for adding $25k to the purse this year. Paying $25k for 2nd and $10k for 3rd is a big improvement from years past.

Posse is fast.
Not much passing first night. Larson wasn't that good just started up front. Showed he wasn't that good 2nd night.
Marks had them covered again, was just a little too fast. Couldn't get whoa'd up in time for lap car.
Posse will spank World of Also-Rans at Port this weekend.

About the passing stuff. I watched the highlights from one of the Port Royal nights. There was 2 or 3 passes every lap in 3 or 4 car groupings containing multiple cars, but the same guy crossed the line first most of the time. My point is if you look at a stat sheet you cant tell if the positional splits were by seconds or thousandths or how many passes took place in 1 and 2 just to be undone in 3 and 4.
Port looked exciting on my computer in my living room from my couch....
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

The first night at Port Royal looked like it had a lot of passing for the lead. The second night, not so much.

They have medication for bi-polar disorder.
Are you complementing the track you hate for good track prep or complaining?
Why do I care?

You'll get that answer when the Winged Speed personality takes over for his turn at the wheel.

Exactly. Track didn't start getting racy until the end of the A main on Saturday. It was a time good, draw good and set sail on the cushion, slot car horsepower track. Strawser would have loved it.

Posse smoked also-rans 2nd night at Port. First night Madsen saved the sweep by a legendary show of blocking.

Madsen would've flipped Dewease down the front stretch like he did his brother at Eldora.
The Outlaws might be able to block their way to a win, but they can't block or spend their way into the hearts of fans.
Tuscarora 50, multi-year standing room only. Outlaw shows, plenty of room to lay down and take a nap in the grandstands.
