For anyone to state this belief is if it's a known fact means he's likely beyond reason. He's going to believe what he wants to believe. No amount of proof or logical discussion is going to change that if he's opted to put his faith in that belief. Might as well argue religious belief. What's the difference?

The vast majority of the intel indicates the virus escaped a research laboratory in Woohan, China after a Chinees scientist became infected. The Chinees are somewhat famous for didling around with virus and bacterial experimentation. The Chinees Communists certainly aren't going to fess up to anything but it's a fairly safe bet that this virus had been the focal point of extensive research within the Woohan research laboratory.
If "manufactured" isn't a comfortable term then call it what you may but it all boils down to the same thing. The virus originated in China and was unleashed onto the world by the ChiCom's.

The genetic makeup of the virus does not have the indicators that it was manufactured in a lab. Scientists have said that if the virus was made in a lab then its structure would reveal that it would have been created from viruses that are already known and there would be signs of manipulation.

Don't know whether this has anything to do with the virus..In Winnipeg Manitoba Canada there is one of three virology labs in Canada..There were two Dr. who worked there, and there was an investigation, and they were escorted out and fired by RCMP in around July-August 2018..Their heads were covered when pictured by newspapers during the escorting out..Something suspicious but never really told of what..Later it was reported they went to lab in Wahun China..The rest and the involvement is all speculation so far
