What drivers have been killed by hitting tractor tires?

Maybe some before cages, but yeah, seems a bit dramatic.

Where are they? Did they jump out on the track in front of cars? Were they at charlotte last night, I don't know because I iddn't watch. Lots of tracks use tractor tires, if the teams don't like them or feel they are unsafe it is their choice not to race there, or if they decide to race, avoid the tractor tires. Those obstacles keep cars from running in the infield which is not the track surface.

Wouldn't a berm be more difficult to see than a white guard rail or white tractor tire?

Saw BAPS Speedway tweet today: "No more berm at the bottom and guardrail will be installed all the way around with progressive banking."
So guardrail is preferrable to a berm?
