I enjoyed myself. Wasn't the best racing but the speed was definitely incredible. It was a beautiful evening to be at the track with my racing friends and sharing some laughs and having a good time. People are starting to get way too stupid over track prep. I've been going to races for over 30 years and some nights I've seen bad races on great surfaces and good races on bad surfaces plus everything in between. Port Royal has had it's share of good and bad track surfaces and it's also had it's share of good and bad races just like every other track in the area. I wish people would just quit bitching and appreciate the opportunity to enjoy the sport we love. Different and rapidly changing track conditions used to be something everyone accepted as part of dirt track racing. Now everyone just wants to bitch like premenstrual teenagers when it isn't exactly like they want it to be. It rained on Saturday and was very cloudy all day and the track was wet.....BIG DEAL. I woke up that morning knowing what the track would be like. This is equally as stupid as when people were bitching about the track taking rubber at Port on Labor Day when it was warm, sunny and very windy.

Same here. Was the racing as good as the last 410 race race held on September 6th? NO. Would the outcome have been different if Brian Brown was not disqualified? Probably not. The weather definetely factored into Saturday's racing conditions for sure. I was just happy Selinsgrove was able to hold a high paying race with such a long history and they had a pretty good crowd. The fact a local driver was able to come out on top was an added plus. If I am being honest, out of the twelve races I attended in person this year at Williams Grove, Port Royal, Lincoln, Selinsgrove and BAPS, half were snoozers. But as a long time sprint car fan, I was just happy hang out with friends and see some actual racing in this crazy year. I get so tired on seeing so called fans nit pick every stinkin' race on the internet. Be happy Selinsgrove is still in business.

Comeptioion red on lap 20.  You can do anything but change a tire/s.  Brian's crew brought a jack onto the track to jack up the rear of the car to grind the rear tires.  This race had different rules and those rules state that the use of a jack during acompetition red is illegal.  Hence, he was DQ'd.  Brian himself took full blame for the infraction.

Sorry, but you're wrong. The Nace race did not have different rules. Page 5.
